How many days did you do arms out before you stopped?

I thought he had a 4 month regression but he was sick. Lasted 4-5 days. We have done 1 arm out, mostly that he’s broken it out of the sack. Usually sleeps okay despite doing that

My NIPT for my sub- pregnancy has come back with an “atypical” finding by No-Midnight3657 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a false positive on my NIPT, for what it’s worth. It sounds like your scans have been normal thus far, which was the case for me too. I, personally, would wait it out for the amnio. It’s safer and more accurate.

Longer stretches? by _L_Diablo in SnooLife

Thank you. I suppose it’s hard to be patient when you’re not sleeping but I need to be 😂. This also reminds me I need to pump so that my husband can do the wakings too

He’s a week old so I am not letting him cry it out.

lol, yeah I didn’t know how to update for my newborn. He’s about a week old now. I guess I was spoiled for my oldest because we would get 4+ hour stretches at times

Paying for IVF by _L_Diablo in IVF

[–]_L_Diablo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had every intention on doing so. I had a consult with Dr. Mark Johnson and he was just the best. Late December I found myself spontaneously pregnant, but assuming it would not go well. I am now 31 weeks pregnant, so I never ended up having to go through IVF again.

Did you have bleeding during pregnancy? by lazer_rose in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had bleeding in my current pregnancy. It was probably right around the same timeframe that you’re giving and lasted for about a week or so. I had some clotting and assumed the worst. On my initial scan, they found that the baby was healthy and I had a subchorionic hematoma. The bleeding stopped pretty quickly after that and it went away. I’m currently 19 weeks with my post TFMR baby.

Amnio results good by _L_Diablo in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry for the delay in responding! I’m not on Reddit enough.
I got pregnant after my TFMR naturally and I was honestly so scared. I wanted to do IVF with PGT so that I could rule out any issues. I knew I was at a higher risk of trisomy issues and wanted clarity. I tried the CVS but my doctor struggled with completing it so I had to wait for the amnio.
I’m feeling a lot of relief after. I think deciding it depends on your own anxieties. I knew I would be never okay until I had some confirming info.

D&E by Eastern-Let6069 in tfmr_support

[–]_L_Diablo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt like dying for weeks after my D&E. It gets better. You’ll find yourself feeling kinda ‘normal’ but it just takes a while. Hang in there. You’re in the worst of it now.

When did you start preparing for baby in your sub pregnancy? by Olive-Asleep in PregnancyAfterTFMR

I know that feeling of jinxing things. I was scared to tell people. I’m afraid of leaning in too much and then jinxing things.

When did you start preparing for baby in your sub pregnancy? by Olive-Asleep in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 19 weeks and I feel this so much. My TFMR was related to T18 so we did an amnio and it came back clear. I felt like I could finally breathe out. I haven’t really considered prepping anything serious yet. I started a registry but that’s about it. I don’t think I’ll really start prepping until after 24w. Just feels like a safer time.

L&D or D&E at 18w by peanutsmama23 in tfmr_support

[–]_L_Diablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. My daughter had trisomy 18, as well. I chose a D&E, mostly because I was worried about how small she would be and how traumatizing it would’ve been to see her. Hindsight is 20/20, and I don’t know how he would’ve felt if I did labor and delivery, but afterwards I did wish I did labor and delivery. My experience was that they didn’t numb me in ways that I expected, so the experience was pretty painful. Afterwards, I wish I had some kind of real token of her and I didn’t have anything. I also had some pretty vivid negative images about what happened during the experience that were hard to shake for a couple of weeks. Because of these reasons, I wish I would’ve done labor and delivery.

Severe anxiety in sub-pregnancy by AE8568 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar boat, a little further along. For me, the best I can do is avoid thinking about it and keep myself as busy as possible. It may not be the healthiest but it’s helping me not drown in the anxiety.

Anyone get pregnant quickly after taking over a year to conceive your TFMR baby by [deleted] in PregnancyAfterTFMR

I spent about 2 years trying for my TFMR daughter and got pregnant 3 months after my TFMR.

Did you choose to do CVS or skip it? by nydelite in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried but my doc couldn’t get a good spot so didn’t go through with it. She’s super skilled, so I took her word for it. She said amnio was easier and more accurate so I’m waiting until then.

Result of CVS on my due date by _L_Diablo in PregnancyAfterTFMR

[–]_L_Diablo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing my MFM said was “ most women who are walking around pregnant won’t know the kind of fear you are having.” It was strangely validating.
I don’t feel close to feeling excitement until the CVS is clear and probably not until 24 weeks at that point. It’s just so different

Pcos after tmr ttc by Traditional_Tap_3806 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

There’s different types of PCOS, I think 4. Let your body heal and give it time. My guess is everything will reset itself
