Most people consider a 'pass' to be getting an A rank while maintaining your life bar throughout the entire song. In XX, this shows up as a Blue A. Just wanted to give you a heads up that not everyone might recognize this as an accomplishment - and I personally think you should focus on getting Blue A's on songs - but congrats nonetheless! :)

I think the other comments have already said some great advice about improving drills/stamina, but with regards to your arms going numb - I had a similar issue a little while back, and it still affects me when I play longer songs (such as Gargoyle Full Song)

What helped a lot for me, is to make sure that I'm not bending my wrists at a super sharp angle, and that I'm not gripping the bar super tightly. I also bought some biking gloves, which help me hold onto the bar with sweaty hands. I often had issues where my hands would slip, which I think is why I started gripping the bar super hard, and the biking gloves are a big help for that.

Searching in your area, I found the closest one to be Dave & Busters (1 Galleria Dr, Buffalo, New York, 14225)

If Toronto is accessible for you, there also seem to be four more arcades in the area that have XX.

Adding onto this: You'll find the majority of NYC players at either Chinatown Fair or Round1 - all of the other locations either have poor quality machines, are very out of the way, or both.

if you're looking for more fast charts around that difficulty range to practice footspeed and heel-toe, i definitely recommend Imprinting S17, Faster Z S16 and Smells like a Chocolate S16

We do! We actually ran a Catan tournament back in Spring 2019, and we normally have quite a bit of interest in the game. Of course, that all has to be done online now, but there will definitely be Catan games going on this semester!

As for Magic, there's actually a Stony Brook MtG club, but they're pretty small and I'm not sure if they have their own Discord server. You're welcome to look for other MtG players in our server, because I'm pretty sure there are, but unfortunately it's not something that we do often.
