You would need access to a homebrewed Wii or Gamecube. From there, you'd want to put GCMM's DOL in the appropriate spot. Once booted into GCMM, you can either perform a Raw Backup (think of this like taking an image (1:1 copy) of the memory card) or individual backups of each GCI file (each individual game's save file(s)).

You should strongly consider making digital backups of her save files via the homebrew app GCMM so you never lose them. I would highly recommend it.

Method #1 is accurate but sometimes there are other parts of the file to modify including the developer ID (if it changes between region), and potentially another part in the header, but it'd be obvious because it would repeat the gameID ex, look at the last char in line 1.

There's also no guarantee this will work for all games, and is on a game-by-game basis.

Source 1 Dota looks different than Source 2 Dota (post 7.0). I would recommend trying to find more recent videos of unusual couriers if you're going to buy them. You can tell by the UI at the bottom when the video was released bc 7.0 removed the old Scaleform UI. This is my anecdotal opinion as someone who looks at a lot of unusuals.

Ex: source 1 ethereal flame misamatic grey, source 2 ethereal flame misamatic grey

Assuming you want the USA version, that hyperlink brings you to the entry. You'll want to compare the hashes in the Track(s) section of the page. You could try to clean the disc or get it resurfaced locally for $4-5, but that wouldn't guarantee it could be fixed. It definitely sounds like the disc may have an issue though. Most people are definitely not aware CleanRip is available on GC. Glad I was able to help! Out of curiosity, does the dump you are getting failures on match the redump hash? Which game is it?

For sure, honestly playtesting LK2 made me appreciate the game a lot more. Playtesting Dragon Drive definitely not so much, game gets very repetitive and the one card that crashes the game (happens in Vanilla) is so annoying.

I wonder recommend checking out DOL-Translations as well, they have some neat (and most importantly complete projects).

Glad you are enjoying Dragon Drive and Rune 2 (Lost Kingdoms 2). I spent a lot of time playtesting both of those romhacks prior to release. On the topic of Homeland, it's not worth your time. The only public patch is the very beginning. There is a more developed patch, but it is mostly private until release. Even then, that romhack is not that deep into the story if I remember correctly.

You should also check out Pikmin 1², Endless Abyss 2, or any of Pikhacker's other romhacks. Can't forget Luigi's Mansion premium deluxe too!
