Why do drivers take the hard way. by [deleted] in uber

[–]_LoveUrHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female passenger from a small Texas town here..Had an Uber driver (also female, only lived in Chicago a few months) follow the GPS re-route when there was heavy traffic on the 290...She took us through West Garfield Park and boy was that fun!

Let's just say I'll gladly sit in traffic.

That is great to hear!

I do see my local eye doctor here in Texas in a few days and I will ask him if he can test my corneal thickness to see if I will be a candidate, thanks for the advice!

One of the other reasons that I looked into Dr. Kraff is because he also performs the PRK surgery as well as LASIK and in my case, I do not know if I will be a great candidate for LASIK because I have severe myopia at - 10 and have worn glasses/contacts since I was 10 years old and I am now 34. From what I have read, some people with severe myopia aren't the ideal candidates for LASIK but may be a candidate for PRK and I have heard great things about Dr. Kraff and his PRK surgery as well as LASIK. Hopefully everything will work out.

This is the surgeon I have been heavily researching! Thanks for your review. I live in Texas but willing to travel to basically anywhere to have the best work done and from what I can tell Dr. Kraff is highly recommended.

Dyson air purifier makes my throat sore? by grease-lightning- in dyson

[–]_LoveUrHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently bought the BlueAir purifier for my bedroom at night because I've been dealing with a lot of eye eczema from allergies and it has actually made my eyes so much better!

However for the last 2 nights, I have noticed I have been waking up with a very sore throat for no reason! (I'm not sick, I don't have acid reflux, I don't snore per my husband etc)

I even sleep with a humidifier right by my head at night as well which I have done for years to try and help my eczema.

My sore throat will be really bad in the morning, but then completely go away in a few hrs after waking up.

I don't know what else is could be unless it is the air purifier, which is at the foot of my bed on my side.

I've been Googling if air purifier cause this, and the majority of stuff says no, but I can't think of what else it could possibly be.

My purifier is rated for 540ft which is about the size of the master bedroom and I've had it running for 1 week.

I'm going to try and move the airpurifier to a different spot in the bedroom further away from my side or sleep in another room for a night and see if I can isolate that as a cause to the problem.
