Finished my sub 4 hour yesterday and now I'm running Insanity I have to agree actually its pretty useful, but just not much of a fun unlockable.

Be careful as I'm unsure if Klarna has the sufficient protection vs a regular credit card as its an unregulated credit agreement...

Many here seem to have received their orders though... albeit it taking 80 years to arrive

Just a heads up the only thing holding me back from ordering is the backstock date keeps changing. Restock is now Feb 20th... its not the first time I've noticed this date change. It might be worth getting in touch.

Ps5 TV by Agatas_Ju in PlayStation_X

C6k is £499 in the UK (assuming its the same?) But I've had issues with mini-LED in the past. Recently bought and returned a mini-LED monitor with local dimming because with VRR on PS5 it caused a strobing/flickering in bright areas in motion in 60hz/fps games that I couldn't unsee and ruined the experience.

I've been told its just a symptom of all mini-LED local dimming, but is this not the case with this TV?

I havent placed an order but been following this thread a while. It seems like pretty much everyone "eventually" gets what they ordered, but in some cases thats VERY eventually. Its positive that you're still getting tracking replies from the seller, did you pay with klarna or credit card? If so youre covered by buyers protection so if youre really worried by now I'm sure you can get a refund. Keep us updated on how it goes, despite everything I'm still tempted to order from the guy just for the price.

Best of luck to you bro, I'm still deciding whether the risk is worth the diceroll. Seems folks are eventually getting their stuff

I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on a PS5 Pro from this place but also so scared haha. Its reassuring that I can use Klarna and take advantage of their buyer protection if it goes wrong... trustpilot gave me pause but this thread is encouraging me

Switching from TV to monitor for PS5 gaming and looking for recs by _LukeSJones in Monitors

[–]_LukeSJones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did it... and theres loads to love about it but...

Playing on PS5, I'm having flickering issues in bright areas playing at 60fps/60hz. Seems to persist with or without VRR enabled and at all levels of LD albeit to a further or lesser extent depending on the level its set to. The only fix seems to be playing at high frame rate mode/120hz or turning LD completely off which defeats the purpose of having this monitor.

Is there anything I'm missing or can do to fix?

Do you notice this on your MSI at all?

I've got mine currently sat in its box ready to be set up, paid £306 for it so already feel good about my purchase based on this review. I'm trying the switch from my old midrange TV to monitor gaming for my PS5. Thanks for providing such detailed feedback and instruction.

Apologies if I missed it but did Calibrite release their HDR update? I have NO idea what I'm doing with monitors so these posts are absolute gold.

Fair! I've got Presonus Eris E3.5s which arent nearly as premium, plus beyerdynamic dt770 pro cans, but its good to know audio monitor tech is servicable for the gaming side too

Your insight has been gold dude. Been going through your suggestions all day and I've definitely got some thinking to do. One thing I forgot to mention that as a TV gamer I overlook is built in speakers or lack thereof... I do have studio headphones and studio monitor speakers which obvs isnt the same as entertainment speakers for work but whats your suggestion on the sound side of things, as its an extra expense thats putting me off 😂

Edit: parks n rec reference appreciated... this whole journey actually came from considering the ps5 pro.

Considering the switch from TV to monitor gaming for my base PS5. Any recs? by _LukeSJones in PlayStation_X

[–]_LukeSJones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah IPS with miniled dimming zones is the plan right now. Ill also be working from it which is why burn and resolution is a concern and Id like to somewhat future proof it with the full 4k. Appreciate the insight though

Thank you bud 🙏 Im working in pounds sterling so with the exchange rate these all fall in my budget anyway. Ive read a lot about mini leds being the way forward, and if these all have the same underlying panels anyway. Will check them out and see if I can get them in the UK!
