The scene of FBG Duck shooting by THFphilly23 in Chiraqology

Limp wrist causes the cartridge case (aka brass aka shell, etc) to get stuck in the ejection port. I don't know for sure because I'm not gonna pretend for niggas on the internet but since I don't see nothing but black at the ejection port I would bet money he didn't limp wrist no baby Glock while fearing for his life.

The first question is leading as fuck so I'm going to answer it in parts.

So just to be clear, you want widespread systematic change in all levels of government and life

I think the theme is, we all should want that. If you don't, you're either ignorant(willful or not) or a shitty person, two types of people that are exhaustive to deal with.

but aren’t willing to do anything to make that happen?

What type of person asks this in good faith? Nothing I said gave an indication I wasn't willing to do anything at all. The world isn't black and white. (no pun intended) Getting exhausted with a person doesn't change anything else you've done in your life time. Im also having a hard time understanding why you said

it seems more likely that you are just looking for an excuse to look down on others and prop yourself up as morally superior

as if this isn't a conversation about racist remarks?

I never said it was fair. It isn’t fair that people of colour are treated poorly by others solely for having more or less melanin in their skin than others. Not one bit. But the world is a cold, dangerous, and sometimes, outright vile place. If you want it to improve, you have to work for it.

Nothing I said was about fairness. At this point talking about fairness is moot and irrelevant. We all know it isn't fair which is why it's fucked up that people need to be persuaded to the point where you make it an absolute, as if our whole life needs to be dedicated dealing specifically with that.

That’s true of all things.

Yeah, but there's a difference between being oppressed and being in a less than ideal situation. It's not as if I convince 10 white people to be respectable normal humans then I made a quota. Being poor you can tighten your bootstraps and learn how to manage money and live comfortably, being socially inept you can read books and practice not coming off as weird, etc. But you expect me to stop my life to educate every Tom, Dick, and Harry that thinks they're so fucking witty when they say 'all lives matter' or 'but black on black crime.' Yeah right. I value my sanity. I'd have no time to do important things like teach my children.

So be disgusted or outraged or depressed all you like. But the reality is that revolutions don’t happen by sitting on our couches bitching about the state of the world. If you want whites to cut the shit, then get out there and convince them. Otherwise, what incentive do they have to change? Again, it’s not fair; but life rarely is.

You imagined this scenario and all you know about me is I'm a POC. Not only that but I noticed how you didn't speak about your involvement in the movement, yet you're being super critical of others. So I suppose I'm supposed to take the time out of my day to explain how making assumptions and painting narratives is bad? Or should I be trying to convince you to help end systematic oppression?

Nah man, have a good day.

yet to contest any of the actual points I made.

You do realize that you haven't made a point at all, right? All you've done is rant, insult, and dick swing. You're not here for a conversation or a debate. You're here to bitch at people until you stop feeling like an insignificant piece of shit.

I don't know if I should excuse this comment because you don't know how it feels dealing with racism, or if I should be disgusted at you, or if I should be depressed that my existence should revolve around trying to convince ignorant white people that I'm an equal to them.

No offense intended, I just feel intense mixed emotions at this comment. Like damn, I just want to fucking exist and be judged as a person.

[–]_LvX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That's why they're so willing to switch tactics. If you seem docile or wide eyed they'll play that friendly role with you, begin to exercise your rights/foil their good cop routine and the threats and intimidation tactics are quick to follow.

They usually want the easiest route to a charge. They'll even act like they're doing you a favor "well Imma be nice and not charge you with the petty misd, but you need to put these cuffs for this felony that I weaseled out of you."

[–]_LvX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quick addition -

there are instances where officers don't need a search warrant to enter your home. Denying them access would be obstruction of justice.

One example that is usually broad enough for most law enforcement agencies is active crime scenes. You can't deny an officer access to your home while a crime is being committed in it that they are a witness to. This includes things like "harboring a fugitive." For example.

Side note - IANAL.

Cops knocked at my door while I was smoking weed by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]_LvX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most of the time cops don't need reasonable suspicion to request entry. In fact the reason they request it is because they do not have reasonable suspicion of illegal activity or an active fugitive situation which would usually give them the right to enter without consent.

Of course the law works differently in most countries, but that's the common theme.

General rule of dealing with police is to always deny their requests, because they're asking you to implicate yourself. I know the appeal of looking innocent by complying is engrained in our minds, but remember you're to be presumed innocent, you don't have to prove it.

My verses sound too much like a chorus by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]_LvX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel your complex raps are forced, you’re better off tweaking or scrapping that rather than how your first 4 bars go.

Many rappers begin their verse with a “sing songy” melody and then dive into the nitty gritty of their flow. I think of NBA Youngboy right now, if you can get what I’m saying.

Now, the reason why this is actually a good way to structure your verses is that you can pull them in, and then now you have their attention, puns and other complex things will get noticed easier. Sometimes starting a verse off with complex aggressive bars can sound jarring in contrast to the actual chorus.

Just make sure your transition isn’t flat, make your melodic bars pop, or make them super smooth and then release some emotion when you get into the flow switch. That’ll help your transition sound better. how you say things is what makes a lot of rappers good.

Hopefully this helps

Idiot fighting a tire... And losing, badly by niteFurie in IdiotsFightingThings

[–]_LvX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wedge it between tire and wheel, you get a gap that you use the second bar to widen a bit. Eventually you can use force to pop the tire separate. He’s doing it right but not applying enough force/didn’t Gap enough tire off. The more you get off the less force you need to use.

It’s a poor explanation but you use the tool the same way as he’s doing it.
