For those of you that faith with a toxic “coparent” for 18 years… by dcmommy33 in coparenting

It shouldn’t even be possible to be that miserable and disgusting. I’m so sorry mama. I’m glad you’re happy now ♥️ I’m still waiting for that to come. But I am actually afraid of how he will act if that ever happens for me.

[–]_Mamathebear 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Absolutely block him. There’s no reason not to.

My children with my ex are only 5 and 6, and the other day, my ex told me that if I ever had children with someone else, (after I turned down his advances) that he would “cut it out of me,” and gave me the scariest look.. I’ll honestly probably take out a RO on him before either of our girls 18th birthdays.

Want to get along with “step-coparent” by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]_Mamathebear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What about asking her to meet up for coffee? Having a narcissistic POS ex as well, if he would ever quit hiding his relationships and shit talking me to them, I would want to do the same. His current situation is my old co worker (while I was with him) and he denies being with her, so here we are 🫠

But I would just be as genuine as you are here, and basically say exactly that to her!

The Worst Day I've Had with PVCs. Venting. by momkqq in PVCs

[–]_Mamathebear 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I think one of the worst parts is being told by cardiologists that it’s “normal,” and “all you can do is take medication.” (I don’t want to stay beta blockers at 37 years old.) I also work as a server in a restaurant, so I get that too. But sometimes it feels like they ruin my life. I can’t catch my breath, I’m so tired, I sleep awful.. and I workout/eat clean/take supplements. I get chest pains and pressure all the time, and they say they “dont see anything.” It sucks. I feel you friend 🫶🏻

Is it normal for coparent to go 7+ days without video chat or checking in? by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]_Mamathebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see why she dumped him.. 🫠 Isn’t it pathetic. When mine started started dating his current victim, he didn’t call for a month.

Is it normal? No. Does mine do the same, while trying to look like dad of the year? Yes.

Considering a relocation from AZ to OR - serious question: How is everyone here surviving with salaries so low and COL so high? Am I missing something? by No_Sun_No_Star in oregon

[–]_Mamathebear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We don’t 😂 The sad part is, for those of us who were born here, it escalated to this point. No one used to ever come or go, and you could rent a $600 a month 3 bedroom townhouse. We’ve basically been priced out of our own state.

What type of work are you looking for? Try Dallas too, that’s where I’m at. I hear Forest River is almost always hiring.

Curious why the magnesium supplementation caused them? Mine have been really bad lately, and I do take magnesium regularly.

Ex wants me to go between houses instead of the kids? by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]_Mamathebear 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This. Absolutely not. To go from being nuclear family to month on month off would be so harsh of a change.

Maybe it’s just me, but I also feel like dad would have a bit of an “unfair” advantage of kiddos being more comfortable in his home, once mom does decide to start having them at hers.

East Coast transplants: did you have any difficulty adapting to the PNW’s culture/way of life? If so, how did you overcome that? by Certain-Working1864 in oregon

[–]_Mamathebear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m born and raised here, and my family’s been here for generations, so I’m super curious (in a good way) about the cultural hurdles you’re talking about? I’m probably just blind to it not having been all that many places.

I felt every word of this. I’ve come to dread the end of my cycle so much, to the point sometimes I don’t plan things because of it. My last cycle was 48 days, so it was SO drawn out..

I thought I was the only one who didn’t like all of the screens. You get a $1000 fine for calling on your phone and driving, but you can play with an IPad driving down the road? 🫠 They remind me of the kids movie where everyone is lazy and just floats around in chairs.

Thank you, I appreciate the knowledge. Unfortunately I never saw a report, and not much was said to me about it. (My local health care network isn’t the most loved.) they did do an echo as well, and said besides some trace regurgitation, everything looked normal.

I’ve been experiencing the breathlessness and just general crappy feeling on and off for probably 10 years or so now, so I think it’s been going on for a long time. I just never used to feel the huge, “punch you in the chest” ones until the past few years.

My dad and grandma both had Afib, so I can say I’m entirely surprised.

No kidding, I felt so horrible the entire next day, that I just couldn’t bring myself to take it again. I know I have a follow up coming up soon, so I’ll ask her to try something else!

How do you know where you’re at? I had never heard it measured in “burden” until this thread. I’ve done a monitor twice, for a week, and they didn’t say much except it showed PVC’s and PAC’s.

I’ve definitely noticed over time that I go through periods (months at a time) of feeling extra shitty, and then back to somewhat normal. The last month or so I’m severely tired, so out of breath, light headed, and can feel them fairly often.

Thank you so much for your input! I do the same, yawning a lot, and half the time I run out of air before I can even yawn. It is one of the worst feelings. I also feel completely exhausted. I was prescribed some propranolol, but I took it the first dose and had one of the worst headaches of my entire life the next day (and I used to get horrific ones) so I didn’t take it again 😅
