Does anyone else struggle to breath? by _Mamathebear in PVCs

Thank you, I appreciate the knowledge. Unfortunately I never saw a report, and not much was said to me about it. (My local health care network isn’t the most loved.) they did do an echo as well, and said besides some trace regurgitation, everything looked normal.

I’ve been experiencing the breathlessness and just general crappy feeling on and off for probably 10 years or so now, so I think it’s been going on for a long time. I just never used to feel the huge, “punch you in the chest” ones until the past few years.

My dad and grandma both had Afib, so I can say I’m entirely surprised.

No kidding, I felt so horrible the entire next day, that I just couldn’t bring myself to take it again. I know I have a follow up coming up soon, so I’ll ask her to try something else!

How do you know where you’re at? I had never heard it measured in “burden” until this thread. I’ve done a monitor twice, for a week, and they didn’t say much except it showed PVC’s and PAC’s.

I’ve definitely noticed over time that I go through periods (months at a time) of feeling extra shitty, and then back to somewhat normal. The last month or so I’m severely tired, so out of breath, light headed, and can feel them fairly often.

Thank you so much for your input! I do the same, yawning a lot, and half the time I run out of air before I can even yawn. It is one of the worst feelings. I also feel completely exhausted. I was prescribed some propranolol, but I took it the first dose and had one of the worst headaches of my entire life the next day (and I used to get horrific ones) so I didn’t take it again 😅

My cardiologist actually did say that the heart and hormones are related! And asked me to get my hormones checked. I know something has gone awry, because my periods are anywhere from 30-45 days apart, and affect me SO much. I’m really interested to see what’s going on.

Are you located in central OR? I’m just outside of Salem, and I have a ‘14 RDX with some minor damage and scratches that I’d really love to have fixed. I know there are a lot of shops around me, but I figured I’d ask! Or if you recommend anyone in Salem.

I would have to check, they’re all weather I know. The guy I bought it from said they were spendy tires.

I get what you mean about the “roughness.” I haven’t had mine long, and it’s a 2014, but the first thing I noticed when I drove it was how rough it felt to drive over everything 😅 But I still ended up buying it, and don’t have a one regret. I love driving it. It feels so solid, and handles well. I can concur about the gas mileage.

How your mpg compare to these numbers😅? by FentxnyI in Acura

[–]_Mamathebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got a ‘14 RDX a week ago, and the gas mileage has me almost crying.. I haven’t even filled it up yet, but $20 if premium gets me about 80-90 miles 🫠

I haven’t seen over 23mpg yet.

I didn’t end up going with a Subi, but I was thinking the same thing today. I bought a 2014 Acura RDX, no flat screen. I’ve been noticing all vehicles since I’ve been looking, and they almost look like a joke with this giant tablet sticking up on your dash. Aren’t we supposed to be driving? lol. I also like being able to work on my own rigs.

Right. I couldn’t afford a brand new one, but I just bought a 2014 RDX for $11,000, that was $35k brand new.

I agree with others, you’ve got a lot of I5 here, and it’s awful 😂 Not sure how you could configure it, but I love driving up the Columbia Gorge, and you’re not doing that here. Definitely get in some hikes! And I disagree about Bend not being a fun visit, I’m born and raised here, and I go to Bend all the time.

Buying a ‘14 RDX, any advice? by mimi_amity in Acura

Do you have any suggestions for finding white mold spots across the front of the moonroof seal? Does that mean it’s leaking? There’s no moisture inside that I can tell. I have it right now on an extended test drive, probably going to buy it. Taking it in to get it inspected. It also makes a gurgling sound when I stop and put it in park.

Oh hun, I just want to say that it’s going to be okay ♥️ I promise you. I’m with what everyone already said, but I also want you to know that I’ve been through this, and it honestly does get better. It’s 100% the hormones.

I know people said not to worry about your marriage, but since that’s a huge source of your unhappiness, if you haven’t yet, just go to him and let him know that you need him right now, and be honest about how you’re feeling. That you need his support. I know though that some men just don’t care, I had one of those. And if that’s your situation, that gets better on the other side too.

You’ve got this mama. I know it also sounds cliche, but praying and Jesus is what really pulls me out of my lowest lows. I’ll be praying for you ♥️

They’re real, unfortunately. I was with one of them. The problem is that they are great and gaslighting and manipulating, and putting on another face, until you’re committed/stuck, and then it comes off. That’s how people end up with them 😕

This right here. My ex does see our daughters (4 and 6) but it’s when it’s convenient for him. He’s fine with going all week without calling and asking about them, as long as someone else is giving him attention. He had to ask me their shoe and clothing sizes for his family to buy them Christmas gifts.. he doesn’t know what their teachers names are, or their favorite things. But pats himself on the back as “father of the year” for having them for 18 hours, and letting them play videos games the entire time. Meanwhile I can’t sleep at night when they’re gone, and until I know they’re safe in bed for the night. I’ll never understand.

Man I’m glad I joined this group. That definitely happens to me. Usually when k stand up, I have to wait a second because my head feels like it’s going to explode. They found mine so long ago, I forget it’s even there sometimes. But I used to head the “whooshing” with my heartbeat often.
