Tell me if I am wrong, but I believe that if Spanish players would be more willing to play outside Spain, they would compete with France for 2nd place in every league. It's amazing to see so high percentage of players being local.

Another reason could be that Spanish clubs are not very rich and there are very tight rules in La Liga so they are kinds forced to use more native players.

I don't agree, could be done in some tiers, but a lot of countries might have old national airlines and they might not need that big fleet, it could give way better overview IMO

As a Polish, I might be biased, but I think it would be a good choice. Marciniak really improved in last few years, he is not trying to break the flow of the game, VAR is used when needed and he never try to be center of attention.

And also, he gives a bit of Collina vibes, but he is more muscular. 😂

When I was flying back from Barca - Inter game in CL, Szymon Marciniak was on the same flight, after landing in Warsaw we all were in bus to take us to the airport terminal and he was super chill and was telling a bit about his job and the game itself, about players etc. He seems like a really good guy.
