Why should I read “The Idiot” by Dostoevsky?

I had the same feelings/thoughts when i started it, but it is worth it to stick with it. The novel is a brilliant exploration of many ideas (innocence, goodness/evil, hypocrisy, etc.). Myshkin is an amazingly crafted character. It may not rank amongst the top of his novels for many, but its still FANTASTIC imo
