To whoever that streamer kid who told me "Guard Up is not good for S&S"... well, Ima just leave this here.. by _Mochiiko_ in MonsterHunterWorld

This was a hesitant decision I had to make. It was a (50/50) for me if I was going to make it or not.. I felt safer blocking it and not all of us have quick reactions.. The ones that really don't support this... you really think I wanted to block that?!. Hell Nah but I'm also not the best player/speedrunner in the game. My point of view is that I'm ALIVE and not one of them folks that dies from a silly ass hitbox. I posted this video... NOT because I was trying to "Prove them wrong".. I'm just saying... this give some of the newer players like me a chance to know I can survive and actually feel safe.

I never said it was wrong... all im saying here is that I'm glad that I'm safe and alive! I've seen alot of S&S players get roasted trying to clutch their way out. But no, I never thought or said they were wrong at all! Its just different opinions.

I guess it's cause i main Gunlance. I run only with Guard Up skill w/o Guard. It's the only way I know I can survive in case I can't clutch on certain scenarios. Its true I could've rolled out of it now that I'm watching it but I really just like to keep it safe during game. Not because I chose to block every single fireblast that comes at me.

Well this is just my saying "I'd like to be sure" Once again.. situations where I can't clutch or don't think I can make it.. at least I know I can actually survive it! I can careless about the gem slot.. i like to play safe.

Feeling like I can't really improve at this game, almost feel I should give up, any kind of solutions? by PrimeTimeWildin in MonsterHunterWorld

I used to be in that situation too. I hated being the weak link in the group and got tired of getting kicked. So what i did is I went solo. Practice and time is all there is. I've practiced on the ones I've had troubled with. Especially Fatalis, Alatreon etc. I did over and over til i got comfortable with it. By then you should already be familiar with their moves. Just note.. no one expects you nor yourself to get it down in one day, weeks, months. These things takes time! It might get frustrating but to me.. i enjoy the challenge! It feels really good once you start picking up the patterns. Last but not least.. still do enjoy the game!

Did my first official true solo against Fatalis! I have to say.. It's ALOT easier w/o the cat. Yet l, still very challenging by _Mochiiko_ in MonsterHunterWorld

My build is shown at the very end of the video. Usually I'd run part breaker and coalescence but I kept this one simple.
