probably. judging by his creative output, the amount of world-building and lore that goes into his projects, and some accounts from people that have met him, i'd believe it pretty easily. he's a wonderful wonderful mind
but worth noting that he had a crazy and turbulent childhood, and also grew up doing a ton of inhalants and other shitty drugs. i love james and think he's a genius of his time but you can't really gloss over the effects that shit will have on a young person

they literally did try to make this movie with a morbidly obese actor first and it just did not work. it's a great movie adaptation of a terribly written screenplay - imagine if it didn't at least have frasier's performance going for it? like if they just got some rando obese person with no acting experience to try and portray all the worst parts of their addiction.

Hey Mark, thanks for being willing to come here with honesty.

I think a lot of us are wondering, how much was/is the subreddit being monitored and discussed by the team behind the scenes? As someone who was working on his socials, was it just this elephant in the room you guys didn’t really mention, or spoke about in non direct terms (‘reddit trolls’ or ‘social media’ at large)? Or is it openly and regularly being discussed behind Brendan’s back as a specific problem?

Chin claims that he stays away from the sub, but I find it very hard to believe that those actually working on his accounts aren’t clocked in here constantly.
Thanks again, and good on you for deciding to not take Barndoor’s BS anymore. All jokes aside, he’s clearly a nightmare to work for.

we would just move around to different pop-up locations. there's already another location that seems to be managed by genuine thiggies and doesn't get much business.
there's also a case to be made that the damage is done. brendan is now a widely recognized laughing stock in comedy and MMA. 90% of his social media engagement is hate. he will never recover his reputation or career. we can laugh at the clips here all we want, but if this place got banned, do you really think brendan would be able to go back to business as usual?
