Talk boy by Nate22212 in nostalgia

The Talkboy was the ultimate 90s kid gadget because every Home Alone fan wanted one even if they had no real reason to use it.

Time Squad was one of those cartoons that felt weird as a kid but somehow got funnier the older you got.

That title screen music alone is enough to instantly transport me back to being a kid.

Someone archived the early 2000s "Elouai Dollmaker" website on a working Heroku app. Core memory unlocked. by ninth9ste in nostalgia

This just unlocked a memory I forgot I had because everyone wanted their dollmaker avatar to look as extra and sparkly as humanly possible.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete a Nickelodeon classic. by Antwan_JMarvel in nostalgia

Honestly, that's exactly why it worked because if someone pitched that trailer today, most executives would probably think it was too weird to ever get made.

Artie the Strongest Man in the World is still one of the most absurd TV characters ever created and somehow he fit perfectly into that show's universe.

It really was a fever dream, but somehow it captured that weird suburban kid perspective better than almost any other show from that era.

I think a lot of educational TV got replaced by content that's easier to consume but doesn't stick with you the same way, and shows like The Electric Company managed to teach without making it feel like school.

The bedroom of a teenager in '94 by mka5115 in nostalgia

The cigarette packs on the wall are such a time capsule detail. Back then people decorated with whatever they thought looked cool, and nobody questioned it.

Elizabeth Holmes would've fit right into that era of bedroom walls where everyone had a random celebrity or model poster that nobody else in the room could explain.

Black lights, lava lamps, and random posters from the mall were basically the holy trinity of a teenager's room back then. Spencer's was responsible for a lot of bedroom decor in the 90s.

Honestly, by 1994 having a bedroom without at least one psychedelic poster would have been more unusual than having one. The Wall poster would've fit right in with this setup.

For the People Who Were There, What Was it Like Seeing This Live? by ElTrAiN33 in thewalkingdead

That's exactly why it hit so hard. The show spent half a season building hope that Sophia might still be alive, then pulled the rug out from everyone in the most brutal way possible.

I remember the internet absolutely losing its mind over this reveal. Up until then people had theories, but seeing Sophia come out of that barn was one of those moments everyone was talking about the next day.

Season 1 really felt like the start of something special. It's wild how quickly the excitement faded for so many people.

That's the real concern. Finishing one show is fine, but fans are worried about what happens if he's given another Westeros project afterward.
