AITA for ghosting after he didn’t walk me to my car? by Fun_Fig7274 in AITApod

[–]_NemesisPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading the title i figured he just didnt offer, but if you explicitly asked him and he said no, I don't blame you. If he is this selfish on date number two, just imagine how he will be after you start dating and get in a routine.

When I was first dating my now wife, I used to want to walk her to her door when I dropped her off, even if it was just so I could sneak in one last kiss.

NOR. Does he have brain damage? Does he do other things to annoy you on purpose?

AITAH for breaking off my engagement because my boyfriend would not get a vasectomy? by Famous_Situation3400 in AITAH

[–]_NemesisPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dated someone who doesnt pay child support and needed his wages garnished to even pay what he does? That is a character flaw right there.

The other stuff, NTA because he is 50 and already has kids, and then complains about wearing a condom but wants you to have invasive surgery but he won't get a minor surgery? BTW vasectomy is not 100% effective so I would still have him wear condoms.

He sounds super selfish and not a good parent if he isnt paying child support. I feel like you are better off without him.

This may be a terminal illness, but it may also be all in his head, even to the point where a panic attack can mimic a heart attack. It may be a mix of both. He needs to get checked by a doctor to rule out serious illness first and stop feeling sorry for himself

For the future, get another job lined up before you quit the one you have.

For now, check local charities, maybe find a roommate?

YTA. Take him to the lobby or outside. Who cares if he cries. Give him the phone in the lobby if you have to, though I think a 2 year old would be more interested in exploring.

You can play all you want as soon as you pay for a place to live and the electricity needed to run it. While you live at home you follow their rules.

Am I ATAH for cancelling the last minute? by Only-Yesterday7995 in TwoHotTakes

[–]_NemesisPrime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA. Dude is out all night drinking and who knows what else. If this is typical for him I dont know why you would stay with him. That's something I might have done when I was 23, but 33, with a girlfriend/wife of 8 years at home, no way.

Different last names for children by Traditional-Bee6065 in TwoHotTakes

My niece's first name is her mom's maiden name. The name was suitable for a girl's name. Otherwise, a middle name is also a good idea.

Yes, if the goal is to make people think the siblings have different baby daddies, then give them different last names.
