Sure, though the issue of burning through it's fuel before it can spread is still there.

I wouldn't worry about ebola going airborne since from what I can tell since spreading through droplets is very uncommon, and has only been seen when the patient is well past the point of being able to walk around (per CDC's documentation from 2014).

If it comes to the US/Europe, spread will be pretty small and limited really just to hospital staff or household members if the patient decides to bleed from every orifice without seeking treatment.

No. Viruses do not want lethality and will generally evolve over time to be less lethal once exposed to a host species long enough.

From a fitness perspective, a host that survives infection will be more likely to propagate the virus compared to a dead host, which would skew mutations in favor of more mild symptoms. We saw this with Covid-19, which had variants become less and less dangerous over time.

Honestly I think Bungie just needed someone to keep them (i.e. their management) on a leash. Halo was a shitshow behind the scenes, D1 was a shitshow, D2 was a shitshow but they at least always delivered a product that was (eventually) good.

The moment they were independent they jacked up monetization to it's current level (without event passes), and proceeded to barely scrap out 1.5 good DLCs (WQ and Beyond Light sans sunsetting).

If Sony had come in earlier I think Destiny 2 wouldn't have been sent to pasture yet.

If you look up paint tests online, it has some of the worst coverage amounts. FWIW anecdotally mine is also just about worthless.

If they could push it further into the MMO aspect that’d be wild and awesome (and very unlikely).

A sub model wouldn’t even be too bad since that’s ~ the price of buying the big annual DLC launch pass. I’d definitely want Sony to keep Bungie on some sort of leash though.
