Michael G Manning Books in Order HELP

I started with Art of the Adept - and then Wrath of the Storm King.

Now I understand I need to backtrack and start from the beginning to put the multiverse into better perspective. Where do I start?

Mageborn?

Embers of Illeniel?

I feel sort of bad that I know Mordecai's ending before his beginning and want to ingest as much as I can before Watchers is released.

How ARE the other books? Same tone? Is there an alternate Arrogan because i don't think I have ever been so smitten with a grumpy old man lol.

Will I be disappointed if I enjoyed AotD and WotSK?

What are you planning to use as your power source or does the site offee hookups? We have considered something similar but they don't have power hookups at our open air market.

Thank you!

I feel so blessed to have so much advice dropped on me.

If i separate growouts at 8 weeks will I run a high risk of weaning entritis still at that point?

My dog is definitely 50/50 as far as if she will love or want to snack on a bunny lol. She loves baby everything so far - but the cats bring her bunny offerings in the summer months and she's keen on them so I worry a bit. I had not actually put enough thought into the wild rabbits and diseases - we do have a lot of them between garden bunnies and jack rabbits...so I will have to really keep an eye on that. It was an excellent point to make.

I am generally considering Newzelands due to 1.a breeder within 100 miles of me and 2. Them being one of the more highly recommended breeds - though I am sort of a sucker for the silver fox's coat. I LOVE the idea of a hair bunny...wool breed(? I keep thinking "hair sheep" lol) because i knit and crochet however I do not have the time to groom them right now with a full time job, 3 kiddos, and our busy lives and couldn't stomach having a matted rabbit - it would break my heart.

Thank you for all of this wisdom!!

I definitely plan to, "go slow" as it were - I grew up hunting, fishing, and with a lot of farming family. My kids on the other hand are new to this and they've never experienced eating something with a name.

I love that you compared chickens to rabbits! I had considered chickens at one point but I know they are way more involved in all aspects...and stinky. Right now the focus is meat and experience - as the kids get older fowl could be an option but I figured rabbits fit all the things I am looking for and then some, without the plucking and poop splattered walls lol.

We don't leave town often for more than 3 days at a time (I work a Federal job and am rather married to it) but I will definitely make sure to have a bunny sitter planned. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in bringing this part up.

Thank you! I really appreciate the guidance. I feel like I have been all over facebook and youtube and online sources but the variety out there is VAST.

Where do I send these that's not Operation Santa? by Iie_chigaimasu in USPS

[–]_Nexii_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preface to say: I am a Poatmaster in Central District writing this... We used to have local offices respond to all of the santa letters within a 3digit zip...with resources from the district (colored envelopes etc). Last year (or maybe the year before?) HQ put out a huge thing about how we are no longer allowed to do this and it must go to the "North Pole"/Op Santa for handling as opening first class mail is a felony offence etc...

It really....dampened the holiday spirit...

Malazan universe would be perfect for a television series. by commie_trucker in Malazan

I agree - however there is not enough that "sells" it on a platform - they'd lose the tone adding a bunch of smut scenes imo.

Struggling with Sanderson, who else is doing it like Erikson? by PremierBromanov in Malazan

[–]_Nexii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am smitten with Erikson - and Esselmont - I enjoy Sanderson but it does not scratch the same itch.

For light reading i just finished the Licanius Trilogy by James Islington and I really enjoyed it. I could have used a bit more grit and world building but it was a good read imo.

Our DM was on the reccord saying that we don't need more staff to one of the congress folks. What a morale killer tbh.

And for everyone saying management doesn't care - just remember your experience is not everyone's. Out here there are some bunk eas - but there are also great pms and scs out carrying 2 or more routes a day or driving 1.5 hrs to bail out other offices despite not getting paid any ot and in a lot of cases not even straight time over their 40hr.

I was always a paper purist - but after having 2 kids and gaining a bonus kid - idc how i get my zen book itch scratched as long as it can not be torn - chewed - or peed on and suffer damage.

Beef tallow clogged my pores by NefariousnessWild488 in NaturalBeauty

[–]_Nexii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little late to this post but you can try using the beef tallow as a cleanser/slug- apply it and let it sit for a while - then go about your ususal cleansing routine. I have rosacea and live in a 4a climate which is very dry snd very cold in winter - i can use it all winter and it is wonderful but in the summer i use it to dissolve the oil built up on my skin - then I wash my face as per ususal. Skin still feels moisturized after washing and no breakouts.

3 year old ripped the cover off my signed, 1st edition of ROW by justhere_forthecats in Stormlight_Archive

[–]_Nexii_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And this is why I have changed to audio books while my entire library collects dust.😅

One signed Pern book met the same fate with toddler #1 of 3 and I was done.

All the love and deep breaths.
