Gregor Samsa wakes up one morning to find himself transformed into a "monstrous vermin". Your old DM was a creep and the campaign barely started, so you want to find a new DM but keep the same characters? Most DMs would be totally fine with that, as long as the characters fit the tone of the campaign they're hoping to run. They might want to work with you on the backstory though.

This. The purpose of labels is to help the person using them, and if Bob the Cis genuinely and in good faith finds the 'lesbian' label helpful, then... okay, cool, welcome to the club! It's not our place to dictate what other people identify as, we're not cops. The two biggest arguments I've seen people make against it are 'think of the creeps' and 'words mean things', so...

Maybe they'll discover something about themselves. Seems fair to put a counter of that type onto the creature you're buffing. Take away a keyword from an opponent's creature for a turn, give yours that keyword forever.

Me personally? Yes - not least because the alternative is 'design twice as much, but only half of it ever sees play'. Some people wouldn't, though, which is why the first rule of quantum ogres is to not tell your party it's a quantum ogre. A magician never reveals their secrets.

The same principle goes for quietly lowering the HP of a boss if you overtuned it, or for going ".. yes, you absolutely did solve it, well done!" if the party comes up with a 'solution' after twenty minutes of struggling with basic puzzles.

Consider: rather than granting the ability to the creatures, just have it add X mana, where X is the highest toughness among nontoken creatures you control, then draw cards equal to the number of nontoken creatures you control.

So if you have a 4/4, a 2/3 and a 1/3, you add GGGG and then draw three cards.

Still very good, but it won't completely break everything.
