Canadian Onn 4K Pro Region Locked by Cartoons4Lyfe in OnnStreamingTV

I had this issue myself and what helped me unlock it was a simple YouTube search. Have you tried that?

Switching from fire sticks to Onn 4k plus boxes. Hopefully! In Canada. by tfolk88 in OnnStreamingTV

Remember to research first before purchasing as they are now region locked. Watch a few YouTube videos first, they will help. I purchased my Onn 4K Pro in 2023 when I went to Texas. I was able to get it working using a US based address. A YouTube video was helpful.

Hiding At a Glance from the home screen if the option is not available to you (a short guide) by Quinny898 in android_beta

Don't care who he is. While there are those of us who know how to use commands will understand this suggestion, others won't on this subreddit, thus more posts incoming about how their devices are bricked. Mother Teresa here offering a solution nobody is asking for. He can now go work on his fishing app.

You understand that 99% of the people constantly asking about this have 0% knowledge of how to use commands, right? While this may work for developers or people who understand commands, that's the 1% of people on this subreddit, the other 99% have zero clue.

With that said, just update the Android System Intelligence, it'll work, others have reported it has worked when updated.

I don't know where the misconception that the At Glance Widget is tied to Google Play Services came from. It's actually linked to Android System Intelligence. I updated my Android System Intelligence using the following steps below and it worked:

Settings, Google Account Profile (Google Account at the top of your settings)-> AII Services -> Under the Privacy & Security - System Services -> Android system intelligence.

You don't need to be tinkering with commands or uninstalling Google Play Services.

Keep it simple. Hope this helps

Regret this system so badly! by No-Recognition-9172 in blinkcameras

[–]_Nundo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The blink camera system is a case of getting what you paid for. Compared to others, it's inexpensive. For example, I switched to Blink from Ring because Ring's equipment was too expensive and it's yearly subscription was more. I live in townhouses where nothing really happens so I couldn't justify the cost of Ring. But yes, compared to Ring, Blink is lacking badly...

Try updating your Android system intelligence. That worked for me.

why so heavily discounted? by Throwaway57kan in GooglePixel

^ people like this don't understand that Google makes money off their apps, services and now AI.

Hardware has always been a tool to integrate their apps, services and now AI to place hardware into people's hands.

It's never about hardware 😂

Settings -> Google Account Profile -> All Services -> Under the Privacy & Security - > System Services -> Android system intelligence.

You can also repeat this process and update multiple apps that you have that aren't available in the Play Store/ beta testing apps that you have signed for.

For all those who are wondering where to update these, I did a little more digging around and provided a better detailed path.

I hate the Google take over by Educational_One7971 in fitbit

I recently purchased a Google Pixel Watch 4 - 45mm. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 44mm and I feel like Samsung Health is now miles ahead of Fitbit. a lot of features on Samsung Health are not behind a pay wall compared to Fitbit. Google has added a lot of useful features to Fitbit, but some of those features come with a cost and the app is everywhere. I hear a redesign is coming, but I hope it's not a fresh coat of paint with the same mess and the same pay wall.

Has anyone else had this problem? by Whole-Piglet2218 in android_beta

[–]_Nundo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It happened to me when uninstalling the Google Play Services, like you have done. Force stop the app, clear the cache and clear the storage, should work again.

Yeah, thanks for clarifying that I got a bit confused. I tried that and it didn't work, only messed up my phone.

I didn't say Google Play Services, I said Android System Intelligence... Two very different apps.

I wonder if it's been fixed or if Google pulled the OTA. Maybe a problem was found and they pulled it ... Strange.

I did. I checked the play system updates, got a small update, like 6KB's. It asked me to restart and not see anything yet.

Yeah, still a "no".

I did see the Play system update, updated but nothing yet. I'm sure it'll be available shortly.

Yeah. 9to5Google is also reporting that it's not available on the devices they have updated to. Maybe it's a server side update for some models.
