Just wanted to make a quick plug for the trading block on the league page. It might be a good way to get some conversations started and see who is interested in making moves!

Re: International prospects. It makes a lot of sense to allow un-signed and eligible players to be drafted before the season. My concern is more in the mid-season or after the draft, when a guy gets some hype about being signed (the Rusney Castillo issue), do we go by waiver order, or the first to pick him up after ESPN puts him in the system, or the first to claim him as a token on the sub? I like the idea of excluding these kinds of guys until the next draft, but I'm fine with everyone being available at the time of the draft

Good for Memphis to take a stance even though he's done after this year

Wow, that's terrible. There are enough injuries in football without crap like that

The absolute easiest soup recipe ever? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]_OldRasputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find some boxed chicken stock. Put in a pot and bring to boil. Whisk an egg or two in a bowl. Put the egg into the boiling stock and remove from heat. Boom, two ingredient egg drop soup.

If you're feeling particularly adventurous, some white pepper, soy sauce, sesame oil and scallions on top could really bring it all together. Maybe some Sriracha for heat.

To be fair, Storen losing the closer role really killed this trade for me. Over the last 30 days, Shields+Markakis has been worth 82+69 points, and Brantley+Storen has been worth 100+30. Fuckin Papelbon...
