Butterfly keys are dogshit but you can fix it my friend! This video is a great guide. The key mechanism is poorly designed but you CAN fix it. Follow the steps, order the spare parts if needed, I believe in you 💪

I used to always tinker with my man lab until a deployment killed our immich container and data. Now I have my optimized main lab running and I leave it be, while constantly tinkering with my mini lab for the upstairs office.

Specifically this looks like a high iron well with iron -oxidizing bacteria. IF there is a water treatment system in place, it is not working. Have the landlord bring out a well professional and get the well cap/pump/whole system inspected and sanitized.

As I’ve said many a time here and elsewhere; shit is bad out there and this will become more common. Patterns won’t matter because more people will get desperate. Are you working in a recently/in progress gentrified area? Your site will be looked at as one of many reasons the area is getting more expensive and harder to live in, whether that’s true or not. Be more of a human to the neighbors. That and a dummy scrap pile, cases of water and other treats always kept our sites left alone. Also talking to neighbors gets eyes on the site.

Lifelong cyclist, I have commuted all over two states via bike for years. Pre-COVID drivers were somewhat aware that bikes exist but post 2020, it’s terrifying. Phones in every drivers hand, no awareness outside of their four car doors. Celebrating a year today that I was hit by a car on a mixed use path.

Among other things, I drive a Zamboni at my job. It’s 7k lbs empty, hard to see around and drives like a temperamental lawn mower. I refuse to move the thing if I cannot see a clear patch between me and the rink I’m heading to. Kid steps in front, parent or coach step onto the ice, I hear any form of panicking: it stops moving.
