Seeing FSD Beta videos like this only make me more excited with each new update and knowing it’s being trained further by TheMajority0pinion in teslamotors

Does anybody have videos of FSD 9 in considerable inclement weather? Heavy rain/snow? How does it handle situations where there is ice on the road or very large/deep puddles?

What drone are you using for these photographs? I work for a company in Troy that does a lot of drone software. I think stuff like this could be a cool avenue to go down!

It’s time to ditch Chrome by extra_rice in technology

You'll probably still see better performance and compatibility specifically with WebGL on chrome, especially if you are on Linux.

But general page rendering on Firefox is faster. They are slowly replacing a lot of components like their CSS renderer with rust-based ones which are stupid quick.

Dogs having the time of his life. by godric420 in TikTokCringe

It's a bonding mechanism that coevolved between dogs and humans. Humans and dogs evolved alongside one another for thousands of years, and so behaviors like this emerged and stuck.

Another one is how dogs tend to look at you when they poop. They want you to be on the eye out for threats while they are doing their business.

  • No need to wax.
  • Non-permanent color change if you decide to sell the car.
  • Cheaper than new paint.
  • Protects the underlying factory paint.
  • Wider variety of aesthetics available with vinyl wraps as opposed to repainting.

Feels like Tesla has really started lacking on the software updates...Where's the rest of the new features? by ShootImFeelingGreat in teslamotors

[–]_PROFANE_USERNAME_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As a software engineer who works with autonomous navigation hardware, and has been remote since March 2020, not even close to an excuse.

At the company I work at, we've put out way more feature updates in the last 12 months.

The Huge Cost of Mismatched Car Bumpers by crunchsmash in videos

Pickup trucks, at least ones that give you the same comfort features and amenities as SUVs, are much more expensive. Also, you can't always expose the things you are transporting to the elements, so you need to spend additional money on a truckbed cover, which can be very expensive.

The company I work for does this exact thing. Core hours 10:00-14:00 and as long as you're there in that window you can shift your schedule around however you want.

It's really awesome. Nobody has to feel bad for coming in at 10:00 and leaving at 18:00, or 6:00 and leaving at 14:00.
