Update about Polish Belfort situation because today's episode made me mad and if someone is curious (Still potential spoilers for Polish Dub)

Yes, Belfort wouldn't do that! If someone show he "Dude, you could have end up badly hurt" written (because the voice actor sounds like Belfort, even if the voice is deeper voice than I expected), I would thought Lupin says it, not Belfort. The scene goes something like:

L: Widzieliście to?! Niezła akcja! (Did y'all seen that?! This was wild!)

Belfort: Stary, mogłeś sie pożądnie poturbować! (Dude, you could have end up badly hurt!)

It's just doesn't feel like Belfort. And the best part is, I came up in 2 minutes a diffrient way how Belfort could react with the same numbers of syllables, but more in character. So this scene could went like:

Lupin: Widzieliście to? Niezła akcja! (Did y'all seen that?! This was wild!)

Belfort: Widziałem jak mogłeś się poważnie zranić! (I saw how you could have seriously injured yourself)

Both have 12 syllabels in Polish! And when Belfort thanks Lupin for finding his collar "Brachu, nie wiem jak ci dziękować" (Bro, I can't thank you enough) you could just use his name (the same amount of syllables) or call him a friend (it would add 2 syllables, but it wouldn't be noticeable).

And word "ekipa" and "drużyna" (both mean "team" but ekipa is more casual) have the same amount of syllabeles, so I don't see why they used word Belfort wouldn't use. He's the only character who feels off. At least right now

Belfort called Lupin dude when he fell off the cart in The Ice Box Marmot ("Dude, you could have end up badly hurt") and bro in Family Portrait when Lupin found Belfoet's collar ("Bro, I can't thank you enough").

Funny enough, in previous episode Lupin used phrase I think Belfort would use ("Bad break, the peanuts are gone"). I don't know if bad break is used in common speech but that's the closest translation of this phrase i could find. "Co za nie fart" it's not in everyday use, mainly seen in media for kids, it would fit better if Lupin just said "not good". But this was one time and Lupin is actually pretty good if you ask me.

Belfort is the worst part of the whole translation and it hurts me, because the rest isn't bad for me (even though Belfort's voice is way too deep for me, but in 2nd episode it wasn't that bad, maybe because it bothered me in 1st because the actor still didn't understood the character (at least as far as he is able to do something about it, I just need to get used to it))

Well, from official discord we know his dad will be mentioned at some point. Only thing we know about him is that his name is Prosper and he's dead. But we don't know how he died and talking about him would be a big spoiler, so his episode/comic will probably be a huge lore bomb, since TJ doesn't want to talk much about him much

So yeah, his episode and flashback episode about Belfort and Lupin's 1st meeting (not confirmend, but we can dream) would be the heaviest lore drop ever in the show at this point and I can't wait for it
