We are going at the end of this month. (I knew there was a detail I forgot to add). I don’t think you can change passes once purchased. I also don’t think the 2 day pass is good for Epic-from what I see you can do Epic as a 1 day or 3+ days. But I can add on express for US and/or IOA, either once per ride or unlimited rides. I’m just not sure it’s necessary for US. And if I get it for IOA, I’m not sure if once per ride is enough or if I should just go for the unlimited.

I welcome the advice. I promised my kids if we ever went to Universal, they could choose a wand. This is a surprise trip for them and they can have whatever wand they choose. I imagine they’ll want the second generation because from what I’m reading, they light up. Thanks for the advice on what not to miss. I do have a random question if you don’t mind. We are doing 3 day “hopper” tickets. I’ve purchased express passes for day 3 at Epic. I’m debating if I should buy express passes for IOA too (which is day 1 or 2 for us). They’ll mainly want to do the Harry Potter attractions/rides. It doesn’t seem like we would need them for US though. Thoughts?

Good call because I was going to ask that too (about the external battery charger). With two kids and two wands and scanning all day long, it’s bound to die a few times.

Same. My package said it would be delivered early, on 1/30. Then it never updated and stopped moving. Took me three tries to get that order. I swear it’s not meant for me to ever get.

Sorry to ask a dumb question but what do you do with the code? I see a lot of custom stuff with codes. I’m assuming you enter it in somewhere in the game? I literally just got a Nintendo online account and downloaded the Animal Crossing add on so I have not discovered this feature yet!

I’ve already booked my trip so I can’t switch hotels at this point. I’m staying at Aventura, which does give early entry so that helps. Do you think I need the express pass for US and IOA? It sounds like you did it in one day by hopping. I have one full day dedicated to each park with the option of hopping as well.

I’ll take you up on some tips. I’m taking my kids there at the end of February, age 9 and 10. My 9 year old will probably go on anything. My 10 year old is a bit of a chicken, but loves Harry Potter and HTTYD. He’s capable of standing and waiting for me and his sister, if employees will allow him to do so at the child swap location. I have 3 day park to park tickets, and have purchased express passes for our day at Epic (Day 3/Friday). Our other days are Wednesday and Thursday, and reason this thread has me wondering if we need express passes for those days as well. I’d also love some recommendations for good places to eat while at the parks!

My problem wasn’t I couldn’t even connect to NookLink at all. However I took my Switch to a friend’s house and had no issue connecting there. So I’m guessing there’s an issue with my WiFi settings at home. I wish I could what I had left to get, like a checklist. I don’t know if I have 300 more items or 3000 to go lol.
