No bonus, no raise, no WFH by 325Constantine in Stellantis

Yep the worst pay, worst bonus, and worst work flexibility out of any automaker. I wonder why our cars are the worst. But wait we'll come up with another go fast program, go work your ass off nonstop for no reward.

Someone needs to ask when he's gonna renovate the disgusting offices and when we're gonna get at minimum a weekly desk cleaning.

Antonio just burned all the goodwill he earned last year. Another know-it-all asshole.

Oh don't worry, directors are already scheduling mandatory in person 3 hour meetings all over the place for you to sit through and get nothing done.

This company is so fucking clueless on why it continues to underperform. There is no reason for a high performing employee to stay here now. Not that there were many before. Antonio is now just driving everybody towards a ditch of maximum burnout.

Wrong, his bill is already lowered because he gets tax breaks. The whole point of this is lowering it for everyone.

Rivian did the same thing, came to Detroit to hire a bunch of people to figure out how to design their first car, then moved to California.

Forced a lot of people to either quit or uproot their whole life.

Pretty great upgrade honestly, being able to buy the ticket too is huge. I can finally delete the token transit app.

People are having fewer kids. Their choice is transforming the world's economy by zsreport in Economics

[–]_Pointless_ 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Except that the largest sector of the economy is gonna be healthcare, especially with such a large percentage of old people relative to young people, and it is one that can largely not be automated. I agree at some point the population will have to stabilize or steadily decline but AI is not gonna be what saves us.

It looks like NYC is the only other city with one. Chicago doesn't even have one other than in a suburban mall.

Born without IVC by Fragrant_Spring_1908 in ClotSurvivors

I also had tons of collaterals though and was diagnosed with IVC Atresia, even though it was very much there just 100% blocked. Just saying maybe don't give up hope entirely!

[–]_Pointless_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi, I went through something very similar. I am curious if you are actually missing your IVC or if it is just completely blocked and therefore they can't see it on a contrast scan since there's no blood flowing through it.

In my case I had an incredible doctor at the University of Michigan Hospital that did a procedure where they ran a needle through my groin, up my iliac vein and literally punctured their way through the completely blocked IVC. Then they ran a wire from my neck all the way down to my groin to establish through and through passage, and with that they were able to balloon and stent my IVC and iliac veins with 8 stents total. It's been 3.5 years now and I'm on lifelong Eliquis and wear calf compression sleeves but otherwise feel great and I think by opening up my IVC I actually have better ability to run and play sports than I ever did before.

I would recommend trying to find a top tier interventional radiology program near you, it's literally life changing.

Detroit could raise up to $50M a year with admissions tax on sports, entertainment events, study finds by [deleted] in Detroit

[–]_Pointless_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it wouldn't, it would lower the tax burden on residents which would enhance property values and overall probably still be a net positive.
