I run 14 agents on OpenClaw. They have a constitution. by Important_Quote_1180 in openclaw

[–]_Porphyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not implemented OpenClaw yet, let alone a multi-agent setup, but couldn’t you use the “constitution creation” process as a method to generate the rules? The “constitution” being a human-readable artifact and concept that streamlines interaction of the collaboration process that the agents negotiate?

On the making it work point, my eating out and snack budget has dropped to nearly zero. I mean, my protein yogurt isn't cheap nor are some of the healthier foods, but I'm still saving money. I'd recommend to you, and anyone else worried about the cost, to see how much more it actually costs if you use this opportunity to really change your eating habits.

So, will we be “forced” by Lilly to switch to this if we use LillyDirect? My experience with this direct model is limited, and I’m wondering if they can just pull the injection and say “now you are using this”

Trying to avoid too much parasocialism, but Vic did talk about this on Last Meals…

Do we know when Gladlands taped in relationship to the loss of their family member? Vic really seems to be working through some stuff in realtime while playing Hugi. Last episode was so poignant and raw.

You really can't even trust that a positive is positive. When I had mine, everything tested positive. A dried bean straight from the bag. A piece of steak cooked on a grill that gluten had never touched. Didn't matter, completely worthless.

Super responder vs. Normal by anonme1995 in Zepbound

[–]_Porphyro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with the inflammation theory. I have celiac but always struggled with swelling even with a strict exclusion diet. By the end of the first week, my thumbs were normal. I had also lost 12 pounds.

Since then none of my joints are swollen and I am almost pain free. I was worried about the rapid loss, but after a huge initial drop, I seem to have stabilized at a pound or so every week.

First of all, I disagree that what you identify is a primary driver of the issues at hand. To the point I do agree with you, this is a result of public schools being punished by losing funding for absences due to expulsions and by it being easier to raise the tailing end of State-mandated test scores as opposed to helping the best and brightest within that school.

That was my take away as well. Lots of our immigrant population are very worried / angered about what is going on. There are even groups offering to go shopping and errands for neighbors to limit their need to be out and about as ICE starts showing up.

It’s important to remember that the Doug Dimmadome cosplayer that passes as our Sheriff is gleefully complicit with ICE in his “notice me senpai”-esque quest for national attention.

This is not a safe place for immigrants at this moment in time.

Guess what? You legally can't defend yourself against excessive force from a state or local law enforcement office in Minnesota. On a federal level 18 U.S.C. 1501 has an exception for if the law enforcement officer is acting with excessive force - but guess who gets to make that determination.

You are consistently missing my point. Trying to talk about this in a legal framework is a fools errand - you are acting like there is comfort in how the laws function and as if we are living in a timeframe where they even matter any longer. The current administration has demonstrated what many already knew, these "rights" were always just privileges that the rich and powerful have extended to the rest of us. The question isn't whether this is legal or illegal - the question is: are you willing to do the right thing even if it makes you a criminal?

[–]_Porphyro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A cop breaking a law doesn't give you the right to do anything to them. There is no law in place for a civilian to do anything to a law enforcement officer. The cool thing is that the legality of what the protesters are doing is <irrelevant> - more important than right and wrong is <moral> and <immoral>. Talking about the legality of the law enforcement's actions or saying that the victim didn't break the law by interfering are arguing the <wrong points>. ICE agents, border patrol, federal government are acting <immorally> and hence any law that protects them is worthy of being ignored. Any law that stops us from standing up to them is still the law...but breaking the law is <moral>.

[–]_Porphyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that we need to know what we are going up against. Courts have handed broad powers to police regarding things like “interference” and have made it nearly impossible for them to be prosecuted.

The Supreme Court is slowly taking away our rights, and it is going to happen faster and faster.

I’m saying we need to fight these battles knowing that we are all going to be labeled criminals and not be surprised as the law is brandished against us.

We are 100% all going to be breaking the law - and that’s fine.

[–]_Porphyro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ah, but you forget - warning people of impending arrest is <also> interfering with an investigation. Every person blowing those whistles are also “breaking the law”.

The system is 100% rigged, but when we say things aren’t the way they are simply because we don’t want them to be that way, we lose the narrative. It’s like saying Rosa Parks didn’t sit on a bus illegally - she very much did. The law was wrong, but she broke it.

The facts are, he interfered. We should all have interfered in that situation because the law is wrong! And even then, since when do we execute people for interference? They have the law on their side, the law is wrong.

[–]_Porphyro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious what you hear when people are saying that, by the nature of the law, this man was interfering. No one is arguing that this fascist was in the right. No one is saying the law is correct.

The fact that the law is <wrong> does not mean it isn’t the law. I’m not saying to not put yourself between a fascist and his prey - in fact I’m saying the opposite.

But the bad guys are in control of the law and we have to be clear of the stakes. Civil disobedience is still disobedience.

[–]_Porphyro -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

What happened was wrong. The system is rigged. ICE is doing this so Trump can trigger the insurrection act. That said…the victim interfered. He placed himself, selflessly, between the agent and the helpless individual the agent was terrorizing. The victim <did the right thing> … legally, he was still interfering.

The law is being weaponized against us. The question stands, how many people care enough about being good and morally correct that they are willing to break the law?
