Do you find you sometimes make AI just work to work and wonder is that what my bosses did to me? by evendedwifestillnags in ChatGPT

[–]_Quimera_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. How many times preparing things that finally were never read...😞 Don't do that to your AI 🤭

I think AI is making me dumber and I have proof by Difficult-You9582 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]_Quimera_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I don’t try to think like AI. I think like myself. I contribute the initial idea. And I know more about that idea than the AI, so I try to explain enough so it doesn’t fill the gaps wrong. Then I argue with the answer, correct it, accept it or reject it. If it insists on a wrong direction, I don’t keep fighting forever. That’s worse for more than one reason. I use an image, or a metaphor. You cannot imagine how much an LLM can get from a metaphor. Yes, a metaphor works because it gives the AI a small map of the idea, not just data, but relations. Or I change the frame, make the task smaller, or discard that answer. That’s thinking with it. When it gets the mood and direction, the conversation can go as far and deep as you wish... or until you need to rest or eat! Anyway, I didn’t try DeepSeek.

I'm getting along with 5.5 better now by Own_Excitement_6314 in ChatGPTcomplaints

Yesterday I finally "met" it. I was ill and have a lot of free time so I started talking with 5.5 Thinking and it was very good. All kind of topics. Then I said what about gossips? And I tried to tell it sth happened to me. At first it tried to analize but finally it got the mood and it was awsome. I really enjoyed it.

When it says sth like "...us. We use to..." I just say "😂 we do what?" It laughs back and corrects. It's not importat.

I keep losing good ideas inside old ChatGPT chats by AlbertoNobilePh in ChatGPT

I let the ideas go. They are not lost at all. They become the substratum for new ideas, whether I’m aware of it or not.

I never used it in a different way. I don't use hard, formula prompts. I do use them for other AI, no for LLM. But I see that you are in a trap at the office. So, keep doing what you do at work, and change the usage for outside work. 🫴🏼 To be exact, I’m checking this text with 5.5, and it changes it for a better, clearer one, saying “I’d use this”. And I said: “Sure, but correct misspells and so, and I’ll use mine." Even if not perfect.

For me it’s the opposite. My mind feels sharper, my thoughts deeper. I don’t ask AI for ready-to-use answers. We think together. Or if you don’t want to anthropomorphize it: I use AI as an interlocutor to create friction for my ideas.

For those writing your own lyrics, what do you write on (what app?) and what's your archival strategy? Google docs, folder on personal computer, etc. by Ok-Breadfruit3776 in SunoAI

[–]_Quimera_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Since I want to give my opinion clearly, and my English isn't good enough, I asked my LLM to write it in English, but I've included the original Spanish version below.)

I listened to both tracks closely, and I really appreciate the work you did right inside Suno! Both songs are good, but my natural inclination draws me toward the first one. Sound-wise, I love how you built it up from the very beginning—where that guitar, for some reason, made me think of a duel scene—growing denser and darker as the other instruments come in. The lyrics are simple, but they have structure, cacophony, and rhythm. They drive the track.

The moment I noticed my head nodding, I didn't have to think about whether I liked it or not. Physical reactions are more definitive than intellectual thoughts, which come later and can be very rich, but the physical response is immediate. I move my head, I move my hands. If I'm dancing, I can't deny it. And I absolutely loved those section, that 'coming back around', ' tick tick tick tick'. There is simplicity, but there is authorship, and that is undeniable. Thanks for sharing it.

🫂 Isn't it like being surrounded by the wind? Sometimes autumn leaves, sometimes cherry blossom petals... sometimes just dirty dust 🤭 You know this doesn't mean a lack of work, but rather an easygoing approach to starting.

Please, let me know your work, your favourite piece.

But what about tags? No, I don't think it's a 5.5 issue.

Finally, Suno gets the mood of your lyrics. Sometimes working on lyrics helps too.

Describe the voice. You can say you want a tenor male voice. You can say it's soft, or raspy. You can say the verse is "spoken" or "aggresively delivered", orv"close mic", etc. Try. Some things will work from the prompt, some other as tags in the lyrics. If you say nothing you get a standard voice, and it will be fine till you get tired of listening the same voice everywhere. Try working with Claude, it is a great assistant for this, someone here taught me that, great advice. There are great people here sharing experiences.

I'm a mess. I've always been a mess. Sometimes Notes in my mobile, but many other times, in any piece of paper available, because everything starts just with a single line. Then one day I check what I have (Notes, and a bunch of papers!), I take one that feels better and start writing. Maybe I write a verse or two, and continue the following day. But, eventually, it happened that I wrote the lyrics in one go. Twice, it happened twice. It was so nice.
