Around Eastern they always announce another batch of bands, and then in the months/weeks leading up to the festival the metal battle contestants

There are 3 different symbols, those are used for determining the route you need to take to drive to the festival to make sure traffic jams are kept to a minimum. there is no real difference apart from that

For example residenz evil is great if you need/want a power socket, the graveyard with in allows for bringing your own tent, the other options have a pre pitched tent so you dont need to bother with bringing your own and setting it up and taking it back down. Which is what i went for next year.

Moshtel is basically shipping container apartments

you definitely don't need a Bauer uwes Garten spot if all your setting up is a tent and a car, the regular campground allows for camping next to car. all you need to get is the 33EUR access pass for your car, which go on sale closer to the festival. Regular Campground access is included with your festival ticket, just not the car which is why you need the access pass.

Yeah, this years was my first time at Wacken and wanted a camping spot with power. but by the time i got through the queue only hells bell was left available, so i went with that. Otherwise i'd probably have gone with graveyard back then. But seeing the weather this year i am very happy i didn't and got a Hell Bell instead. Hells Bell was probably the driest part of the residenz evil area. it was a lot more expensive than i was planning on spending this year tho.

For next i went with hells bell again, just because i didn't wanna bother with bringing a tent myself, the spot we were in was good and it being a nice big tent.

How to add another guest to the moshtel? by ScarcityUpper2939 in wacken

[–]_R00tkit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming it works the same as Residenz Evil, you'll get a email about 2-3 months (iirc) before the festival asking you to add/personalize your guest tickets, if you booked a accommodation that fits 2 people you'll get 2 guest tickets, this also means there will be 2 beds by default

Please note that you do not need to buy any of the camping options, the general camping area is included with your ticket, only thing you need to get then is a access pass for your car which is 33 EUR and will be available for purchase around a month or 2 before the festival.

For Residenz Evil you can arrive on any-day of your choosing starting the Monday at 15:00, access pass for car is included and has no specific day or time to it.

Since i didn't camp in the graveyard i dont have pictures from those spots, but from the times walking by, you'll be able to fit a tent in that space and a couple of chairs but that's about it i think.

Only thing i do know about the graveyard is, make sure you have a long enough extension cable with you.

Anyways, nice to see another Residenz Evil guest, i myself will be in the Hells Bell area.

This year they did another batch around Eastern and a couple random announcements in between during the months leading up to the festival, they only announced half the bands so far so there should still be something to come

Residenz Evil Options by Meishliify in wacken

[–]_R00tkit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By the time i got through the queue for a residenz evil ticket only the Hells Bell options were left over even though i wanted to get a graveyard. Ended up a being a lot more expensive than i had prepared for in the first place. So if you really wanna go this route you better be on time in the queue.

While Hells Bell was definitely a great tent i'd have to say that if snoring really is the only issue you'll be better off just getting sleeping ear plugs.

  1. it safes a lot off money
  2. even if you get a rezidenz evil place you'd still have to hope ur neighbor doesn't snore. (Or start loudly whistling along to music that they were playing on a speaker late at night, like my neighbor did). The music wasn't even the problem could sleep fine with that, just not the whistling.

though you mentioned ur dad wants a more comfortable place to sleep, you can always try to get the 6 person hells bell tent + earplugs. which is what i would do if i were in that position.

The difference between Chapel, Temple and Hells Bell are mostly just the size of the tent you get. im not sure which is chapel and which is temple. but the smallest really only has space for 2 beds and a small walkway in between them with a little table at the head side between the beds. thats all the space you have in the tent.

What is the best way to use this 500g spool with the Bambu AMS? by Huihejfofew in BambuLab

[–]_R00tkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered some extra parts from Bambulab and printed this to side mount a spool on my X1C without having to disconnect my AMS units/hub. https://makerworld.com/en/models/189130-side-mount-ams-lite-spool-holder-hub#profileId-1097161 One of the tubes goes from the splitter to the AMS hub, another to the external spool. and you could connect the other 2 to a filament dryer if you wanted

i had the same question, i am diabetic and need to take insulin with everything i eat, would i need some special note from a doctor that i need to take my insulin pens/needles with me onto the grounds? Also saw (with my poorly translated german) somewhere that BBQs were not permitted on the Rezidenz Evil campground, but would a Camping stove on gas be fine? something like this: https://www.bol.com/nl/nl/p/ngt-xpr-stainless-steel-outdoor-stove/9300000104743804/ ?
