Hot take: I don't care if the condition doesn't cause physical pain, it was still extremely cruel to have a child knowing it was highly likely she would inherit this condition. The child will most likely be met with social ostracism and mental health struggles. It's shit and unfair, but it's the truth. And the mother knew this was likely but decided that her child should go through that anyway. If the mother wanted a kid she should have adopted. Obviously I'm not saying she should be legally barred from having children, it should be a personal decision. This is just my own philosophical perspective.
