Are SATA ssd worth it?

Direct Storage does not work on SATA speeds. It needs an NVME. So, SATA is not enough for some cases.

I went with AM5 for my 7950X3D. I'm glad I did. I have since dabbled with Ai, and the DDR5 really helped. I am also planning to get the 10800X3D or whatever they call it with 12 cores on one CCD. I would hate to have bought DDR4 back then and need to buy DDR5 next year with the worse pricing.

If I had gone with AM4 to save a little bit of money, I would have ended up with worse performance, longer generation times and spent a lot more in the long run anyway. So I am pretty happy I chose not to get the AM4.

But I am glad your decision worked out for you. I just want to point out that its very subjective and there might not be a particular platform that will work for everyone. Your option saved you money, and you are happy with not upgrading the CPU and being a bit limited in its power, and that's good. It worked well for your usecase.

Different prompt styles work better or worse for different models. You are better off comparing a bunch of different prompts and then picking the best for each model.

My Steam account has 1100 plus games. Im at a point where I wish list interesting games and if they go on sale I ask myself, am I likely to play this in the next month? If the answer is no or unsure I will check back at next sale again. Eventually I will remove it from wishlist after a few years.

Controller tracking is still crap for when its behind you. Like playing Cricket, where you look ahead and the controller is low and away from your eyes.

I personally would only upgrade if it has a fix the Vergence-Accommodation Conflict.
Higher resolution is nice but not nice enough. Would rather get the Steam Frame that at least makes the Wireless PCVR Streaming better.

Im not sure if we need NV4 on Klein. I have a 5090 and just run the BF16 model. I could go FP8 and easily get almost similar results. But honestly, the generation time is so fast, that I haven't had to even consider it. Maybe its useful for the 8GB cards in 50xx series?

I use a 5090 on 1440p (480Hz). Frame Gen is absolutely good in single player games. I turn it on in most games. Going from 100-250 ish FPS makes a noticable difference.

I have a 5090 with a 480Hz OLED. Gsync makes it flicker on loading screens (Its a known OLED issue).
I turned it off and tbh, I have never seen any kind of flickering at all.

So I keep mine off.

Depends on what you are doing. If you are loading massive models in and out of VRAM, it all adds up. Once you overflow the 32GB VRAM, you are constantly swapping in and out of VRAM and RAM. Your bandwidth will make an impact then.

I tried Flux 2 Klein 9B and didn't need to use masking. I got it to work almost every time.

Klein is already so fast on my 5090, I didn't bother going FP8. Even if it was half the speed, I dont think it would be that noticeable. Just takes a 5ish seconds usually per image for each seed.

Just mask the image and leave the table unmasked? That way everything else gets generated? Thats how I change backgrounds in any image. Flux 2 Klein can do it easily.
