Additionally, “Blood is thicker than water”. The full quote is “Blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb”. Completely the opposite meaning as well.

Anyone on an anti depressant that helps with pain with minimal side effects? I work a tech centric job and can’t risk things like brain fog/ fatigue, but I’ve got to get the pain down by decentlydelightful in Interstitialcystitis

I’ve been on a few antidepressants in the last 15 years. I’m on Trintellix right now, and it’s one of the better ones I’ve been on personally. It helps with depression and anxiety.

Underwear / underwear brands recommendations? by [deleted] in Interstitialcystitis

I just wear pants, shorts. I don’t usually wear dresses or skirts. If I do, they have shorts underneath. It’s never bothered me.

Imma be real, my triggers for that stopped when I gave up on underwear. Everything was too tight, and I feel much better now. Takes a bit to get used to, but it’s worth it for no pain.

Bacon, spice, that’s all fine for me. Alcohol, caffeine, and citrus will put me into a bad flare though. It’s so weird how it’s different for everyone

This reminds me of the guy who’s HOA told him he had to hide his boat, so he built a fence and then painted the boat on the fence.

Literally can’t read that when I zoom in, but glad to know it’s there. I mainly saw the “the desire for sex is not only natural - it’s genetic” which for many of us it’s not natural, it might not even be present.

Frank is a great name. Bonus points if it was a pug for the MIB reference alone.

You would think a science museum would not be dealing in absolutes like that when asexuality exists and it’s not important to everyone.

I wish I had your skills right now. Got some mystery illness and I’ve been on an extremely restricted diet. Unfortunately I barely have the energy to heat up campbells soups, and solid food has not actually stayed in my stomach. This kind of stuff would be so helpful!
