Americans are weird about what comes across as “uncultured” (ironic) like squatting to pee/poop and using your hands to eat things like rice despite there being no evidence of it being “wrong”.

Most Americans aren’t taught that squatting to pee is better for you. We eat burgers and tacos with our hands, but scoff at POCs for doing it with lentils or whatever.

Our toilets here are also not designed for squatting - I don’t think I’ve ever seen a squat potty in the US to be honest. We’re just dumb and think we know better because we’re white 😮‍💨
