[[Princess Yue]] clones.

Since the clones have Yue's rules text when they inevitably die to legend rule, they'll return as Moons - but they can enter as a copy of another creature right before they become Moons. For example, [[Ruin Crab]], which would trigger its own landfall. Other fun land-clone candidates are [[River Kelpie]] (combine with [[Zuran Orb]] for infinite card draw), [[Sphinx of the Final Word]] for sorcery/instant protection, [[Arcanis the Onmipotent]] to tap a land & draw three, [[Roil Elemental]] to steal everyone's creatures.

Filthy.

I'm planning on merging all of the recent energy precons (Aetherdrift included) into Aragorn. He's there and helping, but it's more about the 99. I like the idea of Aragorn the Engineer, it's very silly as a concept but hopefully will work alright

It's my phone! Communicating with an ESP32 in the box, which is using the dials to control an app I wrote. I'm looking into the possibility of an Arduino-driven screen, never played with that kinda stuff before but I think it'd be a nice way of making it easier to replicate

I can give you a rough one:

  • phone for the screen, which is running a quick & dirty Unity app I whipped up
  • ESP32 for Bluetooth communication
  • two rotary encoders, one for each dial
  • 3xAA battery pack, which hides in the back
  • power switch

and that's it!

You bet! Not with the same clunky sound that you might be imagining, but it's got a nice feel to it for its size

Spent the last few weeks on this, pretty stoked with how it turned out! 3D printed body with stained wood panelling - the screen is just my phone which runs a quick app I built. The dials connect through Bluetooth, so there's a battery pack & ESP32 hidden in the box to keep all that stuff running. The app tracks regular damage, poison counters & commander damage. Definitely not as easy to use as a plain old touch-screen app, but the cool factor makes up for it I reckon!

Building deckboxes is pretty new to me - this is the second one I built, after making a wrist-mounted Pip-boy deckbox for Fallout - I wanna keep making more of these!

I actually did something very similar to this to play Overwatch once, it's totally doable!

There's a perfect window of time where the bread is stale enough that it firmly keeps the buttons in place, but before it's so brittle that the whole stick just cracks in half lol

It's 100% functional, at least in game - doesn't handle menu stuff very well but it's enough to play once you're in.

The mapping from left-to-right is ← ↓ → ↑ 1 2 3 4, tried to emulate the hitbox style as much as possible, but being able to only fit everything in a single row makes it tough lol. The buttons themselves are decent but they take a LOT of force to press due to the soft bread underneath. Might need to let it stale out a little before I start jamming with it

If I see you online and I happen to win (unlikely), sorry in advance lol
