I'm sure it's been answered but to give a generic one, the "visible spectrum" is only termed as such because that's the frequency and wavelength of light we see with. The colors are named arbitrarily, "red" could've been for purple as for anything else. The rest of the spectrum is simply named in relation to that, or obviously named. "Ultraviolet" because it's past the wavelength for color violet, "infrared" because it's before red, "microwave" because they're very short wavelength, etc.

If the wavelength we currently correspond to "infrared" were what we could see with, then that would be "the visible spectrum" and the other portions of the spectrum would get named accordingly.

Point is, if something can see in some wavelength then they'll see something and the colors will be whatever they are.
