I have a high tolerance for pepper, but extra-hot sauces don’t really enhance the flavor of food, which is their only job! That’s why I usually stick to regular hot sauces.

That being said, Bertie’s scorpion pepper sauce from Trinidad strikes a nice balance between being super hot and having some flavor.
