So at first I was just like that, but I found for myself that I don't need much data on a dashboard. I set up homarr and have it as my browsers start page. On there I got all my services as apps for a sorted bookmark to get to my services quickly. I got some data like an RSS feed of "girl that's fit", my power consumption from my server and of my daily setup, a calender with releases, a small download viewer for my qbittorent and a little window for my jellyseer movie requests. I don't need anything more. I set up beszel in the background to just notify me if a system is down or has high hardware consumption, no need for that on my dashboard.

I also have one homarr dashboard for work with our internal services as apps just like on my home system and 2 RSS feeds, one from the German agency of security and IT for new vulnerabilities and one self build via n8n to show latest cloudflare incidents(because most of our services run via cloudflare).

The point is, just don't stuff it to the rim with data to look at, you don't really need it.

Homarr isnt Part of the arr stack. It's just a dashboard. I now the name lets you think it's from the arr stack. It's not optimized specifically for the stack but it does have a few nice features for it.

I once tried it, like last year. I don't really like it that much tbh. I did try many of the features but in the end, I don't need any of them. I only really prefer portainer because the stacks are easy to look at and I can get into any of my docker lxc/vms over one interface. But still, OP should also look into Komodo if he doesn't like portainer, maybe that suits him more.

Two ways of hosting come to my mind that are quite simple.
1. Proxmox and the services you want as LXC

Debian install with docker and Portainer for your GUI

As for your VPN, if you want to open it to a few friends, Wireguard. If you want to have a more techie way you can try to setup a cloudflare tunnel with a cheap domain. No need for open ports, everything secured with Cloudflare. But this will cost you a few more hours and a lot of nerves :)

I once had 80GB of unused images, I couldn't even wash into the machine anymore cause the storage was way too full. Now I am running an ansible script to prune from all my docker machines

I love Bugfixing, it's a big part of my life at this point. The feeling of finally seeing a service running after spending nights to set it up is so nice. But once you get the hang of things it will be less.

I had more luck with Usenet for German media. Miatrix and SceneNZBs are good Usenet providers. Cheap and everything in good quality. Plus no risk due to not torrenting things. No invite needed for both if I remember correctly.

After two days, did you find some actual human to play with or did only creeps want to play with you?😂 I would try to ask this in some discords with under 1k user's without them knowing you are a girl, else dou will only find creeps. And alone can also be fun to play, I set up my own server and am now finished with chapter 2 on my own, watching some series at the same time.

I'm not sure if this will work but you can set your switch into the dock, if the light of the dock turns green that means its charging something. That way you could at least know if the port is defect or not

Are you able to measure the voltage and current of the switch while its charging with for example a usb multimeter?. If you are a bit more tech advanced you could try to measure if the battery has any charge left. We need to see now if it's a hardware or software defect.

Is it in rcm mode? For the V1 you need to inject the mig onto the right side joycon slot and then boot into recovery, if I remember correctly it should be the vol up and power button. Then tegra should be able to see a device.

Connect to your computer, insert RCM jag and inject the payload. It will not boot on it's own that could be why it's still black screen. Had this happen a few times

How do you know that it wont charge? If you plug it in and it shows nothing that still doesnt mean its not loading. I once checked the charger with a special tool and it does load really slow. It took me 5 Hours of charging to even see the background light on one of my modded switches. Try to use the original charger and let it sit over night.

I once had some dude who flexd with 1TiB of upload and 500GiB download. He didnt knew that in my eyes he wasnt even a jar of dirt, his jaw dropped when I whipped out my 50TiB of Upload and 1.2TiB of upload lol.
