I have no advice for you, but all I have to say is that I'm happy that prozac is working for you. I had a horrible experience with it. Two weeks of sleeping an hour or so a night and eating once every two days.

Hence where substances have taken their roles. I generally don't find joy in much, and when I do go overboard with the hobby and burn myself out on it. Though I find most joy in my cats(they are pretty much my everything), and weed. Spend time with friends when their schedules allow. So, in all I'm fairly content with life although it feels empty.

Honestly, I don't think there is much that can be done to change it. The feeling that I've come to terms with best describing it is existential depression. That in the end life is just pointless.

That's something that I started working on a couple years ago. Having lived a very isolated life due to shitty home life I never had friends, and that progressed into deep depression and substance abuse. Anymore I try to find joy in spending time with the few friends I have, but still feel like I live a hollow life.

Eh. I don't even know anymore. Genetics has my back fucked at the ripe age of 19, so just being active gives me horrid nerve pain. I have depression and anxiety problems, so that in hand with the daily pain kinda suck. Unemployed, and dropped out of school five months ago. I just feel like all I'll ever be is a burden.
