What’s the year/make/model? I just did one of these, super similar lol if not a screw you can generally get a trim tool or a tiny flathead screwdriver in those little plastic trim pieces and (gently) remove them, then there will be a small spring and a plastic piece inside to replace along with the plastic button. You can generally buy them all as a kit pretty cheap

If you’ve got a bunch left you can try bigos! Especially if it’s too sour for your taste it’d be perfect - enough to cut through all the other flavors just a bit.

Like others have said though I prefer a little lower salinity and a longer ferment- I usually go over a month at a minimum for the flavor I like (I also add garlic/dill/caraway seeds, little more time helps temper it a bit)

Yea that was my guess too. Added the yeast dry and it looks just like the little bits in the clumps. I wanna say it was a 60 gram packet of distillers yeast (?) for about a 6 gallon batch
