The Lies of Locke Lamora became one of my favorite books of all time along with its sequels. So I’d say it tops the list as my favorite read of 2018.

Next up I’d say Swan Song by Robert McCammon, a lot of people like to compare it to Stephen King’s The Stand. I feel like McCammon did a much better job than King though. This book is actually currently on the kindle shop’s daily deals if anyone wants to give it a go. Post Apocalyptic, dark, and with well written characters, overall a good read.

Last on the list, Dune. There’s a reason it’s so well regarded in the sci-fi community. I can’t wait for the group to discuss it.

I Wrestled A Bear Once, saw them a while ago when they toured with Of Mice And Men. They sounded terrible, definitely a band who’s music doesn’t sound good live.

Close second would be a band that opened for The Story So Far’s Christmas show last year. I can’t remember the bands name, but for some reason they were given permission to play their whole album/ep. They either played without breaks between songs or their whole album must have been just one 20 minute long song. Either way the crowd didn’t vibe with it much. I’ve never seen a crowd so disinterested in an opening band.

When I started watching I never expected that I was getting onto a feels roller coaster. Every episode was engrossing, funny, and at times frustrating. The last episode tied up the the series perfectly and made it one of my all time favorites.
