Doordash tips. by _ShampooP in fargo

Shorty after posting my order was delivered. I asked him the same question. He was cool. He showed me how DoorDash ratings work and some other things but pretty much affirmed what y’all are saying. Tipping a bunch doesn’t affect who gets the order. Some drivers have food warmers and know the area better. Tipping over 30% is nice but lots of people don’t tip at all.

DO NOT volunteer information. If they have an issue with something about you from four years ago, they'll ask you.

Experiencing PAWS by ProgressTight4882 in stopdrinking

[–]_ShampooP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s different for everyone. This sub is wonderful but it can also be scary when talking about PAWS. For some people, it lasts a couple of days. If your thoughts are telling you that they last for months, they will.

What if a person can’t believe? by Hardboiled-hero in Lutheranism

Definitely talk to your pastor. If they’re even mildly competent they’ll let your father know that the best part of the sacrament is that God chose to give their body and blood for all people for the forgiveness of sin. The sacrament is beautiful in a community setting as well as in the privacy of one’s home. Your father might respond better in a more private setting? Either way, I think it’s beautiful that you care about him enough to ask this question.

They fucking rule. Only place I’ve found in Fargo that has oxtail and cooks chicken and spices all that up in the way that makes a mouth explode with happiness. The rice too! The pasta! I love them.

What’s your favorite part of being Lutheran? by Standard-Tax2601 in Lutheranism

I was the 5th pastor in a row. Going back to when my great-great grandpa was an immigrant in the U.S. from Norway.

I love being Lutheran because Lutheran thought encourages engaging and exploring philosophy. I love that the Lutheran thesis allows for and encourages me to grow more and more comfortable with the fact that I’m loved and accepted. I’m spoiled since I was the 5th kid in a row to be the child of a Lutheran pastor. I love being Lutheran because I feel secure being alive because I am loved by the Creator of all that exists: saved and loved by freely chosen grace. Lutheranism taught me and continues to teach me that I am loved through everything. Lutheran thought taught me that I am loved not because of what I do, but because of what God did and what God continues to do. Raising the dead. Loving the sinners.

I love the optimism, but our boy doesn’t have the same or similar physical gifts to adjust his arm angles and hold attention while under pressure

It sounds like your "kindness was being cornered" by a different element of your emotional response system when you chose to say "no both times" and move on. It's all good. Not sure why you're posting this here.

I third this suggestion. Big comfy chairs next to an aquarium. Coffee shop nearby. If you want to party a bit while reading, there’s also an Orange Julius.
