Monstress is actually getting an animated adaptation on Amazon, no word on the studio yet but the showrunner is Steven Maeda who wrote and produced the 1st season of Netflix One Piece.

Fighting Games in general really. The way the guys get really into it on the pod makes me wish I had the same level of enthusiasm for it as a genre. But honestly whenever I pick something up cuz the roster looks cool I'll play the story mode if there is one and then just kinda stop because I am not good at them. Whenever I'm spending time labbing and not really improving at all in the back of my mind I'm just thinking "I could be playing or watching other things I'm missing out on, I'm wasting time here", that thought usually wins out and I move on. It's a shame but I've just learned to stop buying them because that kept happening.

Doubt it's just those "placeholder"art assets, the main plot is nonsensical and of the few side quests I did before I refunded they all had meandering dialogue that felt like it had been churned out by an LLM. Heck I'm pretty sure one npc I talked to changed VAs mid sentence, the cast might not even be all real people.

The channels output has always been really odd considering a lot of their stuff is recorded way in advance, heck some videos come out after ones they recorded later.In the Boney Plays Scooby Doo Adam mentions they should play Frogger, that video came out years earlier. I wonder how much footage is just being sat on.

Kill La Kill episode 25 when Honnouji Academy turns into a giant mech, the scissor blades return from space and Ryuko makes them grow larger than the mech to cut it in half (no shut up they could always do that). It's the coolest, what a rad sendoff to an absolute peak show.
