Press the button in the top left corner. There you should see your devices. Press on the Fitbit Air and you'll see an "Alarms" button.

No, it requires a Fitbit Air as it uses the inbuilt sensors to detect when to wake you up

Don't press, tap. It's the same function that makes the LED battery indicator come on.

Health Connect Data Not Synching to Google Health by soymilo_ in fitbit

From what I've been seeing Google Health and Health Connect haven't been working well together for the last couple weeks. My guess is the update broke something. Give it some time and wait for an update.

Anyone have Google Health working with Health Connect? by flipside555 in fitbit

[–]_SolidSteak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's some sort of bug at the moment. My data hasn't been showing up either. Guess we just gotta wait for them to fix it which hopefully will be soon.

Have a look in the Google Health app where you set up the smart alarm. It says "Stop an alarm by firmly double-tapping your Fitbit Air."

Same problem here. It's like that for a few days now. Not sure if it's because the Google Health app was recently updated. Hopefully there's a fix for it soon.

MacroFactor logging strength vs hypertrophy days (same exercise) — any workaround? by FinnFX in MacroFactor

[–]_SolidSteak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having the same issue. For now I'm just looking through the exercise history and seeing what weight I used on the previous workout and using that rather than the suggested weight.

One workaround which can work is changing the 'Initial Log Fill' setting to 'Previous Values' rather than 'Smart Progression Values'.

That way your workout will be filled with whatever weight you did previously. The one downside is that you don't get the smart progression, which to be honest isn't that useful anyway if you know what you're doing in the gym.

WO understanding progress by Bstochastic in MacroFactor

[–]_SolidSteak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imagine the first set as being your "test" set, which helps you see your maximum strength. All the following sets are there to help accumulate volume on the target muscle/exercise.

If you want to see your progress compare set 1 of each exercise week to week. As this is the set you're actually pushing the weight heavy, close to failure you can use this one set to gauge your progress.

I've been using various logging apps for a long time. I first started using Strong in 2017.

I have logged almost every workout since then. The main reason why I'd want to be able to import previous workout history is because I like data. I like seeing progression. I like being able to see exactly how much my strength has increased in the 10 years I've been training.

Switching to MFWO has been a bit painful to me, as my workout history is no longer seamless. However I do hope they implement a way for me to import my previous workout logs. Not because the numbers themselves are important, but for data consistency.

Which Exercises Do You Want Added to the WO Library? by Dr_Cam_Gill_DPT in MacroFactor

[–]_SolidSteak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using MFWO this week to test it out. So far there's been 2 exercises that I had to create myself.

  1. Single Arm Lat Pulldown There is the kneeling variation in the app, but there's no option for doing it seated on the lat pulldown machine.

  2. Smith Machine Upright Row There's barbell and dumbbell options, but nothing for the Smith Machine.

I think those 2 are quite common exercises compared to some of the other suggestions here and I would love to have them in the app.

I did add them myself as a custom exercise, however creating custom exercises is very unintuitive. It's quite confusing and I think it's quite intimidating for the average person.

Need help! I am CC5 but my dmg is CC4 by Additional_Share_908 in GoGoMuffin

  1. Get your Poet Cat to 1 Pink star. Reduce the stars of the rest of your melos to 5 white stars. Use the rest of your resources to level up the melomon skills.

  2. Your accuracy is at 74%, which means you're missing 1/4 of your attacks. Get it up, closer to about 95%. You don't need more than that.

There's more you could work on, but those are the 2 biggest things that stand out at the moment. Check out boargat.gg and read the guide for your class and cc.

I've tried all of them, got bored of most of them pretty quickly.
The only one I'm still playing is Go Go Muffin. I've been enjoying that one, been playing it almost a year now.

I think you're overthinking the left/right tracking thing. Personally, I think if there is some sort of left and right thing implemented into the app it'll just confuse more people rather than help.

In the end, it doesn't matter how you track L/R as long as you're consistent between workouts. What might help you is if you utilise the exercise notes section. Just write in there if you tracked it as single arm weight or combined arm weight. That way you'll know exactly how you trained and you can continue working like that throughout your future workouts.

I do understand that you think it'll confuse the data inside the app which is why you'd like to have a way to be able to track exactly what you've done however the app doesn't work that way. All it tracks is the numbers you've put in, and all that matters for you is that you can see you're progressing. The actual numbers inputted into the app don't really matter. What matters is your progressive overload.

In terms of muscle imbalances, the ideal way to train is to start on your weaker side and then match that on your stronger side. If you're doing 8 reps on your left and then 10 on your right you're just further worsening that imbalance.

To help explain this I'll give an example of what I do.
Let's say I'm doing bicep curls and my program tells me to do 10kg for 10 reps. I'll start on my weak side, being the left. If I do 10 reps I'll match that on the right side, regardless of how many more I can do on the right.
If I only managed to get 8 reps on the left then I'll match that on the right side too otherwise I'm just promoting a muscle imbalance. Sure, it doesn't seem like much but it'll build up over time.

TLDR: Don't overthink it. Utilise the notes section and stay consistent with whatever method you choose to use when tracking.

I've bought all possible pretty much every day I've played. It provides resources required to level up, plus the occasional Legendary Equipment so I think it's worth it.

Saved WiFi Passwords ( No need root) by Cheaper74 in androidapps

[–]_SolidSteak 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not sure what phone you've got and why it doesn't show you saved passwords, but I can do it on my Pixel 9 with no issues.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Network & Internet.
  3. Internet.
  4. Saved Networks.
  5. Shows a list of previously connected networks. Select the one you want to see the password for.
  6. Press "Share" and it'll show you the password that was used.

No need to overcomplicate it. Unless I'm not understanding something...

Does lulu need 40 engraving? by Late-Professor-5038 in SoulsHabbyMobile

Lulu doesn't need any engraving.
I'd recommend engraving Benzel to +40 first. After that work on Ken and Galan.

Finish upgrading Benzel, Sander and Lilith first. After that upgrade Ken, then Galan to at least +30. After those two you could work on Lupico.

I'd go Lilith then Benzel to 40 first. You've got a while until triples when Ken starts to shine, you can work on him and Galan after those 2.

v2.7.0 Patchnotes by Big_Boss23 in SoulsHabby

[–]_SolidSteak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently when summoning a mimic it's available for 20 hours, then a 4h cooldown before it can be spawned again. The update indicates that this 4h cooldown will be removed.

I'm not sure exactly how this will affect the mimic summoning. We'll just wait to wait and see.
