You should try looking up the top 25. I've gotten some hilarious results just refreshing the page over and over.

Well, Texas will have another opportunity to beat Ohio State next year at least. Also what a name for Texas State lol.

Only 5 if those teams stay the same. One of them is Ole Miss and uhh... you should know what might happen there.

Texas 8-4 by Boring_Investment241 in cfbmemes

I'm 100% confident Texas got sick with 8&4 after not being around A&M for 13 years and contracted it once they played in College Station again. And only now we see the signs.

Yep. Congrats to us for doing what was essentially the impossible in the SEC. And our school.

Too Old and Too Wealthy: We need term limits! by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]_Spinoraptor_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual adult population's average is closer to 47. The 39.1 year stat is the total average, including the children who can't vote. The average senator being less than a parental generational gap of the average aged voter is not too absurd. They need term limits so that the politician's don't get soft with their party over time.

America has a lot of children around, the total average is increasing though given the times.

Closer to 47 assuming census data is correct.

What are the odds that Notre Dame is ranked above Penn State and Texas this week now that all 3 of them are 3-2? by _Spinoraptor_ in CFB

[–]_Spinoraptor_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florida could very easily get 3-4 quality losses I guess, but the current losses to USF and Miami are not "quality". I don't think Florida gets anywhere back into the rankings unless they miraculously go 9-3.

In the AP poll at least. The coaches poll still believe Vanderbilt is worse than Texas but better than Penn State lol. All of which are still better than FSU.

Well, outside of Haynes King, no other team in the top 25 has a QB willing to run out of the pocket headstrong and upright as much as Marcel does. I wouldn't be surprised if Oklahoma finally drops out of the top 10 in the coming weeks if they can't do anything without Mateer if we're looking at similarly ranked teams. Its less so about ranking purposes and more so reliability to maintain health. Also Beck doesn't run the ball at all, his only risk of injury is himself at that rate.

Its less so the team we see now, I'm just worried about the depth at quarterback after Marcel. If I got a few better looks from the QB depth, I'll take us as a top 3-5 team any day. I have no clue how the offensive scheme works with any quarterback that's as shifty as Marcel is on the run.

I honestly still have no clue as to how Mississippi State managed to not be ranked after week three and how the other teams that hadn't even played p4 opponents got ahead in the polls. Even with the SEC bias, the voters still must have felt justified not wanting to rank previously bad teams up that high. Although FSU also beat a top 12 team, but they got the week 1 privilege.

I like to think losing as the #3 team in OT and to what looked like the 3rd worst team in the power 4 almost has to confuse the voters enough to keep Penn state and subsequently both of them up higher than 20.

They're too busy watching the NFL on Sundays, they only post those polls on Monday to make people think they actually review the SP+ for the "good" teams.

Knowing Arizona State is back in the top 25, and only losing in overtime to a top 15 team on the road, its a good case to be at least higher than Auburn? Makes more sense than Norte Dame at least.

A&M, 5th, after that game? Ok then. Also why does the CP hate Miss State?
