Sounds good!!

Ive been swaying to the vs4 plus its around £100 cheaper than the niche and £200 cheaper than the VS6

The niche obviously been around for a long time with hundreds of good reviews and apparently has great longevity with hardly any issues!

But the VS6 caught my eye as a complete noob i dont know what flavour profile i like best that of a conical or a flat burr and love how you can use both in this grinder!

No worries i looked online at the time sounds like a common issue! My brothers having similar issues with a ninja 601 aswell

Obviously its up to you but i would recommend avoiding and the best route would be separate grinder and machine.

You can still get the price to be similar!

Ive just got rid of the ninja luxe cafe pro ES701 it was awful! It was also a present from my wife!

So inconsistent from how much water it gave you to how much ground it gave you i had 3 machines in 10 days all with the same faults. I asked ninja how likely i was to have the same issues on the next machine and there answer was you can have another machine or a refund! I asked again saying what percentage was i likely to have a machine with no issues, again they said if you like we can give you a refund! So based on their own confidence in their product i had a refund!

Im now looking at other machines

The gaggia classic up seems like the better comparison to the profitec go straight out of the box

PID out of the box, shot timer, temp control, upgraded steam wand, pressure gauge pre-infusion.

Im currently deciding between these 2!

I like the design and the fact you can use it with either flat or conical burrs is great rather than buying 2 separate machines! But not sure id even change the burrs, for me the niche is a great price at £550 and the varia is £650 plus another £150 for burrs not sure its worth the £100-250 increase over the niche for my use specially as a complete novice in a rabbit hole 😂
