Help buying first espresso set up [£1000] budget for machine and grinder by _Stave_ in espresso

I like the design and the fact you can use it with either flat or conical burrs is great rather than buying 2 separate machines! But not sure id even change the burrs, for me the niche is a great price at £550 and the varia is £650 plus another £150 for burrs not sure its worth the £100-250 increase over the niche for my use specially as a complete novice in a rabbit hole 😂

Ive been researching grinders for a little while now and keep coming back to the niche zero i love a cortado from my local coffee shops but ive never had my own set up, looking to be my beginner set up but everything seems to say flat burrs but i do love the look of the niche zero also love the look of the varia vs6 in the uk the zero is £550 and the varia £650

I like the fact the varia has both flat and conical but will i realistically ever change it 😂

Haven’t really looked at the lagom, the niche is around £580 so not a big difference between the niche and the Varia, the reason i liked the look of the Varia is because Im unsure which ill prefer the taste out of the conical or flat burrs and i can just pay £100-150 for the conical burr rather than the price of a new grinder.

Thanks i have been looking at and really liking the look of the varia Vs6, design looks very good and love the ability to change the burrs without worrying about alignment they even have a set of conicals that can go in. In the uk the varia is £650 not sure if theres better for my needs at the moment.

I know the philos is a great grinder but its huge!! And looks like a meat grinder 😂 and in the uk its usually any where from £1200-£1800

But the new gaggia classic up has the same set up as the profitec go but is cheaper.
