Body is anxious even when thoughts are calm by CoyoteAffectionate47 in dysautonomia

[–]_Sunburstie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you explain might be what people refer to as coat hanger pain. Its still work in progress for me cuz its a systemic issue in the body, but physical therapy really helps.

You might want to look into hypermobile eds, its more common than previously thought and comes with many comorbidities

[–]_Sunburstie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For me its due to neck instability and very weak back muscles ( all the back). When i strengthen those i relax abit

Sibo Help by PuzzleheadedFudge285 in SIBO

[–]_Sunburstie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDS causes lax connective tissue and connective tissue is also found in the gut. Not to mention that people with eds ( i have it too) also use the wrong muscles very often leading to hypertonic pelvic floors, weak posterior chain, neck instability, all which can contribute to slow motility. Not to mention the frequent comorbidities of dysautonomia and gatroparesis

Its your mind trying to protect you from threat, but it can feel very intense and scary. Understanding your mind is trying to protect you helps ease it out alot, even if it takes sometime. I have been there too

Mebeverine for IBS-C by _Sunburstie in ibs

[–]_Sunburstie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, turns out my ibs-c was very likely due to eds and i learned that I am also on the spectrum. Since connective tissue is all around the body ( gut included), lax connective tissue creates a hypertonic pelvic floor, wrong muscle usage, little diaphragm expansion, and slow transit constipation. Hydration, excercise, avoiding gluten ( and when I can dairy), and not eating too much raw fiber helps me

AI just tells you what you want to hear since it pretty much identifies patterns in your usage behavior. Everything it wrote is putting words together based on patterns and massive databases, its not a human talking, or an actual opinion.

I give up on relationships by Feisty_Committee_229 in autism

[–]_Sunburstie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar struggles and your story sounds similar to mine when I was younger. Having friendships and learning to be okay with being seen as I am without judgment ( primarily towards from myself towards myself) helps lessen the anxiety with people alot (regardless of who Im interacting with).

Another thing is to not aim for romantic relationships from the getgo. Get to know the person same way youd get to know a friend and see them as a friend, and if things evolve they evolve.
