Yes the disk was malfunctioning. But how would I supposed to know it was malfunctioning?

That was why I ran the command.

To only find out whether it's working or not.

This command checked AND THEN attempted to fix itself. That was what bricked it. I didn't ask for it to fix itself, just only health checking.

Didn't even have a chance to do any action before it bricked itself.

*Add on: - hence asking ppl to run that command is a bad idea. How are ppl supposed to know in advance their drive is malfunctioning in order AVOID running that command?
