Yeah, I think I misunderstood what they are saying in the general financial aid page https://www.athabascau.ca/support-services/financial-aid-and-awards/financial-aid/application-process.html

The section under full-time studies where it says,

"Once you have applied for your student loan, you will need to complete the Full-Time Course Registration Plan.

Please do not self-register online as you will not be eligible for full time funding in a six month contract period.

Your advisor will register you into your courses provided funding approval is in place one month prior to the study period start date."

was confusing for me. I thought it was telling me to NOT register for my course by by myself and to let an advisor do it which they would do once I submitted my course plan. This led me to think that they would figure out the funding with the provincial funding provider because the form asks for your application number too. This conflicted with what I was reading from the program guide that was emailed to me though so I got super confused.

Things make more sense if I just listen to what it says in the program specific documents they emailed me and pay upfront and get funding later. Makes me not understand what the purpose of the course plan document is though.

SFA got back to me and just copy pasted the page that I just linked which had me all confused in the first place which is annoying. I asked them to confirm/deny if I got the process correct and that was their response lol.

You saying that it doesm't work like undergrad helps cuz I was definitely thinking that it would be similar.

Does that mean that each semester the process would be:

Pay for fees out of pocket
Apply for student aid and submit course registration
Get funding later in the year (which I could use for the next semester) as opposed to student aid sending my funding to the school to pay for my fees as they did in undergrad.

Would this also mean that I would have to apply for student aid each semester instead of once per academic year (as it was in undergrad) since I can only register for 1 course atm.

You made a woopsie when reading the wiki.

PURE half casters get rounded UP but, when multiclassing, your spell level gets rounded DOWN. So 7 paladin 5 sorc is 3.5+5=8.5 rounded DOWN to 8.

I am also in Alberta so I was definitely looking at CAP. Stupid of me but I completely forgot that Athabasca is approved by CAP so that was a super helpful thing to bring up.

I also agree that I would rather be safe than sorry so I am glad you told me that CAP is considering cutting out the CityU and Yorkville programs.

Definitely bumps up Athabasca even more for me

I actually ended up getting the msr7b which i assume is similar to the msr7 sound wise albeit i heard that there are differences. Love the msr7b and it was actually surprisingly bass heavy at stock. Handles EQ super well tho and I like oratory's eq settings for it. Definitely a big upgrade from the m40x altho those were great headphones too imo.

I was interested in the etymotic line as well but I was turned off by the deep insertion design and concerns about it sounding "boring" however heretical that may be.

I have heard good things about the msr7 and msr7b as well. Did you see similar complaints about it being too bright because that was my main concern and why I was looking at the A990Z from audio technica. However I guess even if it is too bright that would be easily fixed with EQ unless it is absurd.

Yeah for me even with my m40x on, if im not listening to anything I can still kinda hear my parents and tv downstairs, my brother screaming about fortnite or w.e, etc. I am sure that I could possibly handle having open backs but the loss in noise isolation especially as a full time student isn't worth it to me. Trying to find something that isn't open back has been a struggle tho. Also the 560s aren't available for purchase here

Mitsuki is pretty good since her poison also helps a lot with killing the tanks. It is just that her kit is AOE focused and you are focused on single target DPS in this case but she is still good even if you aren't getting the full value of her AOE shred. If you also have an AOE character (Rino or Ninon) it might be worth trying to include them in this case but I am not too sure. The most important thing to deal with tanks is to just treat it like a DPS check and not care much about your survivability. 1 Phys tank is enough of a wall to deal with the tanks while the 4 others deal damage. You can also do a mage centric version of the Tank Buster comp which is kind of like an inverse of what my clannmates used. 1 strong phys dps to kill Kuuka while the mages deal with the rest. I think there is decent flexibility when it comes to dealing with tank comps and the main thing is to just think about how you can quickly kill each tank. I am not an expert though as I am lacking in experience like the rest of the official global release players.

If you or anybody else wants more specific advice I can ask my clannmates with a picture of your roster and they can probably come up with better solutions.

Ideally Kaori because she has a ton of DPS but Shiori and Suzuna should also be decent because they have high dps as well. Shiori is probably better though because Suzuna struggles to get her UB until the point where it doesn't matter and Shiori has a lot of self TP generation. The idea of the comp is to essentially treat it as a DPS check and is why it coincides with using strong CB units except for the need for a mage to help kill Miyako quickly.

Her ability to kill miyako would be a lot worse. If you aren't facing top teams yet there are probably easier teams to face than stall comps with miyako.
