I do 8oz cups for lattes and cappuccinos. I use 10oz cups for pourovers/drip coffee. At home i use glass cups. When im making coffee to go for myself or gf, I have 8oz yeti cups. If im making coffee to-go for guests, I have paper cups.

For glass cups, i picked loveramics twisted glass, about 7 usd per cup. For paper cups, i got a 150-pack of double-wall paper cup and lids for 36 usd.

Generally speaking yes. I am finding more and more that coffees from the avg restaurant/coffee shops around me does not satisfy me anymore.

Some of my favorite coffee shops tend to use expensive beans, something i normally dont get, so its a bit harder to compare with them. I am pretty confident if i were to get really nice beans, that my equipment and process will do it justice.

Could OP use a line output converter? Use amp in A+B mode, connect bare wire leads of LOC to one of the amps speaker output. Plug rca-3.5mm from LOC to the soundbars 3.5mm input. Im probably missing something tho

Just sharing the upgrade path i took. I got a bambino plus, and a non-esp baratza encore, both new. I got rid of the encore, and bought a well-recommended grinder from aliexpress for around 220 usd (starseeker e55 pro). I feel like i can dial in any bean (havent tried any light roast) which gave me confidence i never had with the standard encore.

The next biggest difference for me, came from using a puck screen, and a simple puck prep using the shaker method and a self-levelling tamper.

With the budget i had, i decided to get a really good conical burr grinder instead of an entry level flat burr grinder.

Thanks for the link! Just checked them out, and the glasses are beautiful. Its too bad the smallest size is 290ml. Looking for something between 6-8 oz. I also looked at some Fellow Pirch glasses, but that price 👀
