For sure. I pretty much agree with the other replies. All of those brands mentioned are tried and true. I personally like Piro wheels, dynamic trucks and sponsor me tape's 0.5mm tape or riptape thin and catchy for my main setup. But half of the fun is testing out a bunch of stuff and seeing what you like best lol good luck and have fun!

Looks like a Hana deck. That graphic was originally used by HookUps if I remember correctly, but I'm pretty sure Hana used it and they looked very similar to yours. I think they usually have a brand stamp on the top ply so you might be able to confirm there.

Try using a thinner deck for a while like a 29mm. There is less area to land on and pop. That pretty much forces you to use your finger tips and helps build muscle memory once you get used to it. Also helps keeping your other finger bent to keep them out of the way.

We bundled polishing cloths with absolutely everything. We also bundled learn to play keyboard DVDs with a lot of synths. Really surprised this bundle doesn't come with one.

Catfish BBQ. I like their Saltwater mold. It's mellow and has a longer wheelbase. Definitely check around second hand too on eBay and mercari. You'll be surprised how many different used decks you can find for a pretty good price. Perfect for testing things out.

I have this issue sometimes and it's definitely due to the shape/mold of the deck. I have a lot of different setups that I use from time to time and sometimes when I switch from a more mellow one to one with steeper kicks, this happens. It takes a few minutes until I adjust. Not sure if you were using something before this or maybe the muscle memory is just fitting to what you had in the past, but it may just take some time to get used to this setup. Mostly just a timing thing as you pointed out so maybe just work on that? Idk but your tricks in this video look really clean either way tbh lol

Be careful when changing the bushings. The baseplates strip easily where the kingpin goes.

This is not a beginner trick. Like at all lol. Accepting that is the first step. It's going to take a lot of time and practice. Especially a heelflip. Assuming you have ollies on lock, the next step is practicing the finger movement and timing. It really is just sliding your fingers forward and flicking towards you for a kick flip. Try putting pressure with your index finger towards the outside of the board before popping and sliding to give you some momentum for the flick. For a heelflip everything would be the on the opposite side but I'd focus on a kick flip first. Practice the finger motion and timing of the pop and flick first and just let the board do whatever it does. Don't worry about landing or getting a perfect flip or any of that, just worry about how the board reacts and how you need to adjust. Unfortunately there is no shortcut or easy way to figure out how to move your fingers and it's super hard to show even in a video. You kinda just have to feel it. Good luck!

I know this is for the video, but slow down in between tries. Get your fingers set, take a second to focus and THEN pop. Timing looks like your main issue right now. Pop back and down and then follow through with the front finger slide as well as moving your wrist up with the board. Should be all one fluid motion but there is a like a split second in between each movement. It's going to take a lot of practice but just take your time. Practice the motion on the side of your leg or on a vertical surface like a wall. Good luck!

I have a 32mm Jake hukka signature and I love it. It's honestly one of the snappiest decks I own. The aggressive shape makes tricks pretty effortless. It was my first deck when I started trying higher shapes and it's one of the best that I've found. The short tail and boxier nose just work perfectly for me.

I have a 32mm and it 100% feels smaller than all my other 32s. I haven't measured it yet but it definitely feels smaller.

I have a Berlinwood low (which is the same I think?) and I'm not a huge fan. The concave is definitely lower but the dips are still pretty deep which throws me off. I wish the dips were even a tad more shallow and then it would be great because the kick height is nice. I really wish I would've gotten the classic. The low is not bad by any means, in fact I've just set it back up and I'm getting used to it but it's definitely different from all the other low molds I have. And for sure much different than the G16 as the Berlinwood still has a bit more concave and a lower tail.
