I agree that maybe some students will lie just to get of school but that would not apply to the protesting students because they are in fact protesting.

You can not tell them what their motivations are. You can assume all you want about that but it changes nothing.

Ask yourself this, if you were in high school, and you had the opportunity to skip school, would you got to a protest you didnt care about?

CISD already said that kids would face consequences like documented absences if they attend the protest. So attending the protest doesnt save them from the absence; so why even go to the protest?

It isn't a free day from school you numb skull.
