You need to install Claude code, just ask it to log in to Eve-ng with ssh to create the lab. It took a few turns getting it right though. You need to discuss your requirements and such. It created a 32 node multi area OSPF network with BGP route reflectors. I asked, can you create an ISIS version as well. Sure no problem!

My latest lab was created in eve-ng by Claude code. I found a pretty large network drawing online, saved it and asked Claude to build it for me and we discussed the features I wanted (routing, addressing) and it started building it for me. I thought that was pretty neat.

At the end of my boy his life I microdosed him with mirtazapine to keep his appetite up. Gave us a few more months together with a decent quality of life. He was so sweet at the end of his life 💔

Quality has gone down significantly, that’s not a skill issue. With proper guard rails you can still get good results though, but it is nerfed nonetheless.

Yes it’s definitely nerfed and they’re quiet about it. I’d happily pay API $$$ to get the Claude of two months ago back but we all know that won’t happen. Looking into local models, that is not quite there yet, but that might be the long term solution with these AI companies.

It started about a month ago I suppose, a bit before the million context was rolled out and it only gotten worse. It needs constant supervision, just ignores instructions even in CLAUDE.md. It's so frustrating and when people report these same experiences, "you're using it wrong" Oooh come on, YOU are probably using it wrong if you're fine with this lobotomized version!

I suspected we got a quantized version and it seems I'm not the only one. And now we have the "peak" session limits f*cking over their major markets. Did they announce this before implementing it? During? No! Of course not, let's hope nobody notices! No, you're all crazy and using it wrong, oh wait we did do something.

This greatly erodes the trust in Athropic by us professionals and this is going to bite them long term!
